I don't know what the right word is to describe making half a million bucks to hold a clipboard, but I certainly wouldn't use the word "fail."
You guys really want Dobbs to fail. Sad.
I dont want him to fail. He just never showed me anything during his college career that leads me to believe hes capable of success in the NFL. The A&M game replay was on this morning. The int that he threw in OT was a classic Dobbs head scratcher. He just saw something that wasnt there. Just not a throw a Sr QB is supposed to make.
So your opinion of Dobbs comes down to one play?
The fact he's 2nd all-time in TDs and 3rd all-time in yards in school history doesn't matter? The fact he averaged more yards per game and more TDs per game than Peyton Manning for his career at Tennessee doesn't matter? The fact he led the best scoring offense in school history last year doesn't matter?
You're saying Dobbs won't make it as an NFL QB based on one bad throw?
That's not very good analysis of a player's projection from college to the NFL. Don't be surprised when you're abysmally wrong on this projection because you based it on one throw.

You based your Myles Garrett analysis on 1 game where he had 1 sack. If you've forgotten what you wrote, it's on the first few pages of this thread.
Anyone that watched Dobbs can tell he doesn't have the arm talent to start in the NFL. His decision making was also really questionable last year
No. I've actually watched him extensively. I saw his games in 2015 vs Arizona State, Alabama, and Louisville. And in 2016 I watched him against UCLA, Tennessee, and Alabama extensively.
Freakish talents like Myles Garrett are easy to spot. I knew he was special from the game in 2015 against Arizona State. Watching him in those other games just confirmed my intital opinion.
You could say the same about Tom Brady. He went in the 6th round. Nobody thought Antonio Brown would be any good either as a 6th rounder. Joe Montana went in the 3rd round. Dak Prescott in the 4th round and so on.
People's opinions have been proven wrong time and time again. Just because you say something doesn't make it so. Even if the overwhelming majority of people agree with you that doesn't make it true.
Dobbs went in the 4th round so most people agree with you. I disagree with most people on Dobbs. I think he displayed the arm talent in college to not only start in the NFL but to be elite. We'll just have to wait and see who is right.
