Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Trump is claiming that he didn't know about the meeting at Trump Tower last June between his own son, son in law and then campaign manager with a Russian lawyer who has ties to the Kremlin ever took place despite months of denials that any such meeting had occurred.

I wonder who is leaking information on this?

Here's a tip... Don't go overseas and throw shade at our intelligence community. Trump did it once again in Poland by casting doubt that it was Russia who had hacked the DNC ("It could have been China... it could have been other countries... it could have been other people... nobody really knows for sure who it is.") ... and then he brought up Iraqi WMD's as a way of downplaying their credibility? This is how they counter that.

Let's get Trump, Jr., and Kush in to the Senate committee investigating all of this, pronto.

Trump Junior is ready to talk to them.

https://www.aol.com/article/news/20...work-with-senate-intelligence-panel/23024092/

U.S. President Donald Trump's eldest son on Monday offered to talk to a Senate committee investigating alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, after he acknowledged meeting a Russian lawyer during the campaign.

"Happy to work with the committee to pass on what I know," Donald Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter.

Trump Jr., as well as two other close associates of Trump, met with the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, in June 2016 at Trump Tower in New York.

On a side note, I'm glad you stopped posting while drinking last night. You were making quite an embarrassment of yourself. Of course, I sometimes can't tell when you've been drinking or are sober as asinine as some of your posts have been as of late.

You do know trump will eventually have all those IC professionals replaced with people that will tell him what he wants hear, right?

Doesn't he talk to his own son and son in law? Is he saying that they lied to him? There is no way he wouldn't have asked them who they had met with. It was his campaign after all. His denial makes no sense. That last dot to connect here is between this Russian lawyer and Julian Assange/wikiLeaks. If that can be done, then there was collusion - plain and simple. Donald Trump Jr has already admitted that this meeting with the Russian lawyer was arranged under the pretext that damaging information on the Clinton campaign would be disclosed. That by itself, is a lot.

How many politicians - particularly one in a tight race - wouldn't listen to anyone claiming to have damaging information on the competition? Pretty much the perfect example of the pot calling the kettle black. It's what's behind every negative campaign, and how many aren't negative these days?

Campaign finance laws specifically prohibit candidates and their associates from soliciting or receiving anything of value from foreigners. This includes information which could be helpful to their campaign. In addition, the law bans campaigns from providing "substantial assistance" to a non-citizen who is trying to improperly influence a U.S. election. This meeting at Trump Tower between Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort (the Trump campaign manager at the time) was arranged under the pretext that they would be provided information damaging to the Clinton campaign by a Russian lawyer with ties to the Kremlin. Donald Trump Jr has already admitted as much. There is a reason that so many lies have already been told about this. Trump officials knew this was wrong.

Good God. See this is the stupid crap that just needs to be let go by everybody. Oh Trump knew about a meeting. Trump tweeted he didnt know about it. Oh no, Trump lied. Big freaking deal. Every POTUS lied, extensively. Lets see what Trump can accomplish huh? Stop focusing on what he says and more about what he does. Actions speak louder than words. Hopefully Trump will be a president that actually cares and gets things done. Unlike the previous 4 mentally deficient dweebs we have had in the WH. But I guess what Trump says and how he is viewed on the world stage is much more important. Sheesh.

Yeah, right! The law says lots of things, others say stuff about trusts and charities, and still others cover ethics; however ... Big donors still make big donations, PACs still include foreign contributions, and some cabinet level people still make deals with foreigners wanting access ... and uranium.

Do you think reports concerning foreign trust, like, respect, or whatever for a sitting president or a candidate fall in the category of political currency? Could be telegraphing who they might have the latitude to deal more favorably with after the election, you know.

You have to take this in context with what developed later. Is this meeting by itself an issue? No. The issue is that our intelligence community has concluded that Russia was responsible for hacking DNC servers and disseminating 'fake news' stories to try and influence the outcome of the 2016 Presidential election. The Trump campaign is under investigation for colluding with that Russian effort. This meeting and it's content is highly relevant to that investigation. It was foolish and inappropriate at best... if there are ties between this Russian lawyer and wikiLeaks? Then it's something much more. We'll see what happens next. This is definitely no longer a "witch hunt".

The only fake news stories were about Hillary leading in the polls , this whole Russia collusion / obstruction is a crock of shlt, The Russians werent filling up stadiums with supporters or campaigning in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Your side got outplayed get the **** over it, Hillary was a terrible candidate to pass right through and Trump won fair and square. This whole Donald Trump Junior meeting with the Russians happened a full two days after Trump secured the nomination. Much ado about nothing..😂

Check out the date of this Trump tweet!

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up--and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted?

4:40 PM - Jun 9, 2016

*************************************

This was Trump tweeting at Hillary Clinton... and June 9, 2016 is the same day that Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort met at Trump Tower with the Russian lawyer under the pretext that they would be given damaging information on the Clinton campaign. It was the first time that Trump tweeted about the Clinton e-mails. Coincidence? There are no coincidences of timing in politics.

I've been waiting for this post... and yes, collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials does at the very least look more likely than it did 48 hours ago. Still would like a tie between this Russian lawyer and wikiLeaks... We'll see.

Any way you spin it, that meeting at Trump Tower was incredibly foolish.
