i think were ok on the back end. there are still a lot of talent to replace and talented players recovering from bad injuries in the front 7. if there is a problem it will show up here. the LB are also slow and we are thin there too.

If they can't, it's going to be along season.

Butch has brought in a ton of talent on the DL along with LBs. The fact that this question is being asked is troublesome.

McKenzie has been underwhelming, Tut can't stay healthy, and Kongo looks great in pads. So to answer your question, OP, I have no idea.

I had/have strong doubts about the LB's. After or during spring, Shoop came out and said he like his LB's and depth at the position. I think there's a lot of talent on the DL if they stay healthy. I think there are some quality players in the secondary if Warren is as much of an upgrade as I think he is. But besides DKjr and McDowell, UT doesn't really have a LB that has proven they can play in the SEC... and both of them have been injury prone.

besides the line coach what talent are you referencing ..

Phillips, Kongbo, and Taylor are all very talented. Vickers has been decent on the inside. Shy is very good when healthy. Hopefully our new line coach can get K-Mac to play up to his potential. The talent is there.

i agree on LB no speed, besides the injuries we lost some good players. i think the front 7 is the weak spot on the team.
