I don't disagree as we are fairly hypocritical when it comes to human rights. We embrace some, we shun others.

Cuba being a holdover from the Cold War is kind of our last "battle" against Communism. We beat the big boy on the block in the USSR, but never managed to take care of a nation 90 miles away from our own coast.

Anyway, I think Cuba will implement reforms when Raul Castro is gone (read that as dead) and the Castro legacy is not needed any longer. Two men, in reality one man, held that nation in his cult of personality for over 50 years. I think the majority of Cuban politicians and military are more or less being "polite" to Raul at this point since he bears the same name as his brother. Otherwise, you might have seen reforms or even a revolution already.

An opinion of course. And probably not the right terms to use, but you probably get my drift.

1) The only ones demanding segregation are members of Black Lives Matter ( A liberal group )

2) I didn't know racists hated the KKK as Sessions took the Alabama chapter down in the 80's.

3) We should pay for others not going green like it says in the PCA? If alternative energy is so great, why does it need subsidies?

5) Seattle is losing jobs because of the $15 minimum wage. Only idiots would advocate for a hike in minimum wage as it just causes inflation. More money available in an economy = higher prices. It's not a coincidence that housing prices skyrocketed after loan easings, that tuition prices skyrocketed because of loans and excessive grants, or food prices went up because of a huge increase in food stamps.

Notice there was no talk of any posts, that's something you brought up (though I'm sure I can find some - but there was no mention)I said you want them here.
