Good for them. People outside of the Tennessee realm will say "who?", but those three guys have busted their tails to be contributors.

All were 3-star guys that had to prove themselves once on campus. I see this as a reward for their perseverance.

Personally, I like the idea of rewarding your seniors: guys who have been around a block a few times, both on the field and in front of the cameras.

These guys have been through a lot here. For the rest of their lives they can take pride in knowing they helped turn things around at UT.

I'm proud of these SR's

Emmanuel Moseley:good!:

Jashon Robertson:good!:

Kendal Vickers:good!:

Good move by the coaches. Hard work and dedication to the program pay off.

These guys have been around since the dark days and have given some respect back to the Power T

Can't complain about one of these guys. I don't see any 1st round picks in the group, but that is not the point. These former 3*s may be the core character of team 121 ... blue collar, no hype, tough as nails, winning big.

Coaches probably have a different set of criteria for media days. Makes one wonder what that criteria mix is made up of. Loyalty to the program? Dedication on the practice field and weight room? Attitude? Leadership? Influence? Interview skills? Grades?
Position recruiting advantage?

Yeah. Its not important enough to get very worked up over. But that criteria makes good sense.

I believe he chooses seniors as a way to reward the players who are stick around and also they are usually the most media savvy about to how coach speak their way out of a tough question. Don't want anybody making headlines or providing bulletin board material for the fall.

This is a weird picture to tweet along with the Media Day rosters, don't you think?

Somebody is getting fired...although it may not be a paid position.

Do you fire an intern or just take their keys and change the password?

edit: now I realize that's a tweet from KNS. I thought that was a university tweet. That pic is probably the background on John Adams' phone.

This, among other things, is why I stopped reading KNS and GoVolsXtra a long time ago. Adams and gang are not serious journalist.
