If you're referencing Cook, running towards UGA is not exactly running FROM competition.

It was mentioned previously he's running from competition with Akers.

Don't know anything about the kid just used that reference to tell what I do know about a kid on our roster.

Ty Chandler is going to be very special at UT

Was "mentioned" by a poster on a message board.

Praise away.

Why are we competing with Marshall, Memphis, UTSA, and Georgia State for recruits this early? Is recruiting starting off that bad again this year? I've noticed several offers with less than stellar offer lists. Hope this is not a sign of things to come.

It is very rare when a fumble results in a 14 point swing. If you get one deep in your own territory and prevent a score, that is a 7 point swing. If you still have to drive the ball 60 or more yards, you are hardly set up for an easy score. If you do get the ball deep in your opponent's territory, then they weren't close to scoring. Now, if you return one for a TD from within your own territory or return it inside your opponent's 20 from inside your territory, then you could say it was a 14 point swing.

We had one vs Kentucky a couple years ago. In scoring position, then Dobbs fumbled and their DL took it like 90 yards to the house.

I remember furiously cussing at the tv during this. Thought it might turn into a closer game than we needed at that point

It seems like we have had more than our fair share of these. However, one of my favorite plays of all time was Darren Miller rumbling (and I do mean rumbling) about 95 yards against Iowa in the late 1980's in the Kickoff Classic that was absolutely huge and helped us win.

Under investigation

Wow. I am a defense attorney, so innocent until proven guilty. But this why we have to trust the coaches know what they are doing with regard to talent and character. Sometimes it is just luck, but most times it's the staff doing their due diligence.

Looks like another he said she said situation. Let's see how Baton Rouge handles it as Knoxville sure can't.

under investigation for rape.

Oh wow! Hope it's not true, and hope it's not a case of a girl making a bad decision and regretting it, so she tries to ruin his life because of it. However, if he did it, then He deserves to never see another snap on a football field.

This maybe old news, but DeerPark said in the baseball forum that Butch wasn't allowed to get a S/C coach last year because the AD was paying the buyout of Lawson.
