Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

I'm not going to play that game. It boils down to character, priorities, philosophies, etc....

I will address climate change since you brought it up. In the last 6 months he has claimed it was a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese, refused to answer if he believed in climate change, made fools of his spokespeople as they tried to cover for his reluctance to commit to a stance, and finally admitted that man does have minimal effect on climate change. This is in the past 6 months from a 70 year old man who ran for and was elected president. And for me it goes far beyond just his belief in climate change and to the low priority he places on the environment in general.

The climate change politics is complete bull****. There's absolutely nothing we can do to stop it. It's a waste of money and time to try. Plus most politicians who push the idea don't actually believe the **** they're spreading. (See Al Gores and Barack Obamas lifestyle)

Now if we want to spend the time and money developing strategies and systems to survive the coming changes.....then I can get behind that.
At least that way we're not completely wasting money and time

Why don't you list whatever the ten worst problems in the world are and then we'll discuss whether they're getting better or worse?

Well off the top of my head. Yes I understand these are big buckets not small ones. Not in any order.

Nuclear proliferation
Spread of infectious diseases
Isis/terrorism/world conflict
Impoverished counties
Climate change
Human rights
Economic/ social impact of automation
Tennessee winning a CFP national title
Water scarcity
Government corruption

Your thumbnail is an excellent endorsement for the effectiveness and benefits of the Clean Air Act, the EPA, and environmental regulations in general. Well done!

Trump will gladly undo all of that in the name of your explanation....$$$$.

I gave my shot but I think you pose a great question. You should start a thread on that. Would be interesting. I am being completely serious man.

List the ten worst things going on in the world and explain to me how Trump is making them worse. Outside of climate change, of which we have different opinions, I can't think of one.

I now understand your post as saying you have a different opinion than Trump on climate change. I misread the first time, sorry about that.

Several of those items I think he has had no real impact (yet) because the main lever the president can use is funding and we're probably still on last year's budget.

If you felt that Obama was as detrimental to the world as I feel Trump is, then you should have hated him. It's not about the direct personal impact.

Detrimental to the world? Come on now.

Almost 6 months in and so far he hasn't signed any legislation that radically alters almost 20% of the economy, hasn't started any new wars, hasn't rolled back any civil rights, no trade wars, hasn't really done much of anything. Yeah real detrimental....

We're already the cleanest industrialized nation on the planet genius, the only regulations he's rolling back are the asinine burdensome ones your boy put into place via executive order.

We haven't started any new wars?

I thought one of the screeching points was going to be that Trump was going to get us into all sorts of new conflicts and he shouldn't be trusted with the nuclear codes...

I'll be interested in seeing what he does with North Korea. Especially in light of yesterdays comments from McMaster. Personally, I don't see any military action that doesn't result in further escalation.

Hopefully China would do something to shut NK down before that happens, but it still concerns me.

We're the cleanest for a reason non-genius. Those reasons being everything Trump and his ilk hate and are trying to roll back.

No, we are the cleanest because we are a free people that do not have to tolerate bad actors. We can effect change with our spending and in our courts, people in other countries do not have those options.

The human race has to stop sheitting its own nest. We can't prepare for a world where climate change has occured if we have so damaged the ecozone its barely fit to live in it, whether man, beast, or fish.

What an embarrassment.
