Its not all that bad, Wylo being Wylo only once, not really much else. Mostly civil.

Couple of others have gotten interesting.

I'm craving king crab legs. I could eat myself into a coma.

You and Wylo should meet in that thread and discuss which team you both can start being fans of together.

My wife loves sharp knives. Then, she gets tipsy with her sisters and uses every knife we own to cut hard cheeses on ceramic plates... Trying to keep knives sharp is a futile battle in my home. The boning knife is hopelessly dulled (Sister-in-law actually chose it to cut lengths of braided rope... Who does such a thing?!?!?!).

My wife is having a love affair with that Shun paring knife. Lol

Knives are an essential kitchen tool, just like a certain tool is for a mechanic or builder, and the difference between a cheapo Walmart tool that will work and a Craftsman or whatever the best name brand is.

Anyway, I understand her appreciation.

Fresh spinach, bacon, boiled egg and warm vinegarette dressing.

Citified :).

Very young leaf lettuce, Spring green onions, bacon drippings, vinegar, a little sugar (optional), crumbled bacon on top:yes: The question is: do you cook the onions in the bacon grease or add them raw with the lettuce?🤔

I toss them with the spinach raw.

I do cook a little shallots in with the dressing.

Thay may still have it, but remember O'Charley's hot bacon dressing? So nasty but so popular.

Mom's was just green leaf lettuce, crumbled bacon, and drizzled with hot bacon grease.

No onions or vinegar? I think Mama might have left the vinegar out sometimes, but she put in the spring onions. Personally I picked them out, but she and Daddy loved onions. She only made it with the very first lettuce leaves and the tiny new onions. She said it was a hold back from when people did not have fresh vegetables all winter (even before canning, when string beans were really strung) and were hungry for something fresh and green.
