Isn't that kind of like Saban thinking Dooley was the perfect Vols head coach?

(Oh, and you may want to let Trump amass a career before comparing careers, no?)

I, and I'm sure many others are getting really sick of your BS attacks on rural America. You're not just giving folk reason to think you're a raving fool. You're proving it.

I'm pretty sure arm_hair is trolling us, hoping for reaction. Don't give it to him/her.

(There's no way humanity has devolved to the point of arm_hair being real, right?)

What's fascinating is seeing completely average and low achieving people lacking any major successes passing judgement on other's. People who spend a little too much time on here instead of maybe focusing on their lives. Maybe, that's why a middle aged 50 something practicing attorney for at least 20 something plus years can't retire right now....but alas that's the modicum of the democratic party, concentrate on everything else but making their own lives better while passing judgement on the "other" side.

I also find it quite funny to see the smart arse mouths and words that come out of some of these people like armchair and try to imagine what type of little dweebs they are. Make no mistake, big talk on the internet and exactly none of that gusto if it were face to face. Reason being, that if these little whiny pusses did act like this in real life they would have been taught some humility, civility, and simple common courtesy by the arse whippings they would have been handed.
lol........

You declare some as "completely average and low achieving people lacking any major successes" and then condemn them for passing judgement on others. How arrogantly hypocritical can one be?

Where's your humility, civility, and simple common courtesy?

The problem is that Trump supporters feel beleaguered. That everyone is advancing but they are going nowhere, and it cannot possibly be their own fault.

So naturally, they blame everyone else for their problems. And the more the outside world hates Trump, the more that feeds the resentments of Trump voters.

They love that people think Trump is an idiot. They don't even care if he is. He is the vessel through which they express all of that frustration.

There's a lot of truth in this. Of course, as evidenced by the responses to your post, Trump supporters will never see it this way. It's a strange time in which we find ourselves.

And this is why you guys on the left have lost more than 1100 legislative seats in state and national elections since 2010. Because you don't get it. You keep calling people that don't think as you do stupid when they're not. You call them racist when they disagree with some outlandish policy, but they don't have a racist bone in their body. You call them haters, bigots and homophobic when they actually treat everyone they come across with respect but also don't expect to be run over by some hyper politically correct agenda. There is no balance for people like you, no objectivity. You have anal glaucoma. You're head is so far up your @$$ you can't see out of it to understand the world around you. Btw, my peer group that I work and live with are highly educated, many with masters and some with PhDs. They've flown combat missions and some started out as grunts. They had responsibilities you can't even imagine as they rose through the ranks. Many went on to start businesses in the civilian world and are extremely successful. But to you, they're rural, stupid, not well read. I'll take any of these guys I know and they'll run Fing circles around you in any task you hand them. Trump was not my guy. But Trump didn't win the election because people are stupid. He won because your side is so utterly arrogant and people are sick of being lied to, called names by the elitist a holes and marginalized by a one sided media. So p*$$ off, because you're missing the point entirely and I don't expect you to get it.

Excellent post.....

LG is right. Trump supporters are mad because they aren't advancing while everyone else is.

I guess thats why the Republicans and their supporters are out protesting about increasing minimum wage. Oh? Thats democrats?

I guess thats why the Republicans and their supporters are demanding people who do well to pay their fair share! Trump campaigned on that one. Oh? That was democrats?

Um..

Didn't Trump and his people cheer when he told a crowd of people that if they owned a business..what was the term? You didn't build that? WHAT? That was Obama?!?

Remember when Trump said its not a parents responsibility to raise their kids but the communities? Oh snap that was another democrat?!

Damn, I'm fresh out of examples of Trump supporters being left behind and blaming others...

Well, to be fair, he made judgments about specific people here, as opposed to arm_hair's blanket generalizations about an entire culture and region. You may want to consider those subtleties before making an apples/oranges comparison.

(I'm not defending everything he/she said, because I'm not sure any of us can make correct assumptions about success just from seeing posts. But you do need to consider the differences in type that we see between that post and arm_hair's.)

One would think, with your championing liberal philosophies of openness and tolerance, you'd be first in line to decry such blatant x-isms, stereotypes, bigotry and general meanness as found in arm_hair's trolling. Yet... Silence until you see a way to subtly divert attention from it.

So... Philosopher, think more correctly for yourself. Liberal, progress yourself.

Not a really good comparison because Trump is paying for everything, including his weekly trips to the golf course with other people's money.

The point was that Trump's platform was "screw everyone else; I'll make our deals for America's benefit".

He's threatened most of our treaties, I suspect to create a more favorable environment for the US to renegotiate them. He's pulled out of the Paris agreement, saying that it wasn't beneficial for America.

He seems to be on a tour to overturn all the agreements made before him that have us--the US--paying the tab for most of what's going on.

And, since Trump was elected to represent his constituents (the US), it's not a very good measure to judge him strictly on global popularity. Any and every president could buy global popularity with our tax money.

I wasn't calling him out for generalizing or being judgmental, I was calling him out about being judgmental in the same sentence in which he was condemning others for being judgmental. Subtleties often escape you.

As for the other post, I should have said "most Trump supporters" instead of "Trump supporters". I do operate under the assumption that when I attribute a trait to "Trump supporters" people understand that it's not intended to apply to 100%. Just as when someone makes a blanket statement about liberals I take it as intended to characterize most but certainly not all.

I continually try to heal and progress myself; don't we all? (no need to answer)

Did you complain when President Obama did it? Probably not and you shouldn't. What are these guys supposed to do while they are in office? Would you have them do nothing but work. I think people forget that being president isn't a 9-5 job.

Yeah, that's the point, because these people have no right to do so, because they aren't special and they aren't what they think they are.

Because I'm not on here daily constantly doing these things. I don't go around calling other's dumb and less than I constantly, and daily no less, but, I will do so when the time calls for it.

Now, when you see me on here daily doing such things call me on the hypocrisy. That's the difference. I don't. He does. My humility went out the window when I have to see and hear complete idiocy from those who have no right.

It would the equivalent of you telling me how to do my due diligence regarding the evaluation of a company and their request for capitalization of $50 Million and how you would know how to do so better than me. I'm pretty sure that this isn't something you can do, so if you decide to tell me how you are so much more equipped to do so because you read a few books and I'm an idiot then yes, I'm going to call you out.

You have a bloviating socialist new age hipster who is not near the level of achievement of superiority that he feels he deserves. He somehow feels it is his right to speak as he does. That somehow, he is better than those he talks down to. He's the skinny weakling trying to bump out his chest to a MMA fighter, the guy who talks big with no substance.

I pointed out the difference in the judgments. Fail to comprehend the difference if you choose.

So, in paragraph one, you clarify that you weren't chastising him for generalizing, but just for being judgmental.

In paragraph two, you clarify that you weren't generalizing, but were just being judgmental.

lol

You seeing it yet? Wait for it... Wait for it...

And there it is.

That poll has little to do with financial impact. It's a statement of the world's view on Trump with regards to other issues....immigration, inclusion, environment, security, world view, and the treatment of traditional allies and foes.

Thus far, and much like every other politician, everything he's done is to benefit his friends.
