I hope Mayweather is motivated and looking to make an example out of Conor. I can see it being a glorified sparring session that Mayweather wins by decision though.

I hope he underestimates Conor and takes it as a joke and he gets caught and knocked the f out. Don't see that happening though.

I'm just tired of McGregor. I've accepted that he is a great fighter, and it's not all his fault. It has a lot to do with Dana White, the media, and most of all, his fans. I'm no fan of Mayweather, but I don't pay as much attention to boxing so I don't get as annoyed with him. Hopefully the better boxer wins.

I just wanna see a KO. Preferably McG wins, because that's the better story, but I will be happy as long as there is a KO.

This may be the only 12 round fight in history where one opponent does not land a punch. McGregor seriously may not touch him the entire fight.

Floyd has 2 knockouts in the last 10 years, one in 07, one in 11....he ain't knocking anybody out. He'll probably win by decision.

Yeah, but Mayweather was fighting experienced boxers who are probably faster than McG. I'm not sure what we'll see. If he's just ridiculously fast compared to McG, I don't know how McG can go 12 rounds.

I can see a knockout in the later rounds. I mean we saw Diaz outbox Conor and turn him into a panic wrestler. That happened within two rounds. If Conor doesn't put Mayweather away early, I'm not sure he makes it.

It's almost a win-win for McGregor. He'll get a monster paycheck, and if he loses (extremely likely), he wasn't supposed to win anyway, and if he wins, major upset.

The only way he would come out badly is if he gets his ax kicked, and I doubt that happens either.

Oh, I'm sure.

It's a huge waste of money for an outcome everyone is aware of.

I'm either chipping $10 into a pot or watching at the bar. It's not really about the outcome, it's more about just seeing the sideshow act. Nobody gave Toney James a shot and Couture ended up destroying him, but it was still fun to watch. It sort of gives you an insight into how good these guys are. You wonder how badly Couture would beat the average tough guy and the TJ fight gave you a little insight into what that would look like.

The only upside I see to a McGregor win is that his arrogance would reach an all time high, and he might become the next Apollo Creed at the hands of whoever wins between GGG and Canelo.

I am so excited for the buildup and the spectacle.

The trash talk from McG will be fantastic.

I'm definitely chipping in to watch.

But he will have earned it, IMO. Among pro athletes, I don't mind arrogance as long as it's backed up. I think it makes the fight game better.
