Merge if need be.

Out of AG Campus, 14, UTVC, 40, and Locust St...which would you recommend and why?

Which is easier to get out of after the game?
Best tailgating?
Past experiences?

Thanks VN!

14 was good tailgating, so was AG but it's bigger and more spread out seemed like. Both run shuttles to the stadium. Ag is closer to the interstate so it's super easy in and out but 14 is not bad either being on Neyland drive. IMO, I would take 14 then Ag.

Locust is still free as far as I know...
Ag is good too. Easy out, relatively speaking

Major problem with 14 is its proximity to waste water treatment, hence not good for tailgating and during early season very odiferous. Parked there for 2 years and expressly avoided afterwards. But it is pretty easy in and out

If I'm hearing you correctly, sounds like you've "contended" (struggled) a while with not-so-pleasant air.

One could describe it this way:

"The first element that goes into appreciating and experiencing actual championship-level pleasant-smelling air, is to, for a few years, experience a level of the odoriferous -- in moving from 14 to AG, we can achieve that, but not until such time."

This could be said for all of Vol Nation for a decade or more. It is time not only to get out of 14 but move on up to G10. I fully expect the air to be significantly sweeter this year. :dance2:

It'd be easier to just say that it smells like **** near the Lane Kiffin Sewage Treatment Plant.

I've parked at the AG Campus and lot 40. Lot 40 is by far easier to get in and out of in terms of getting back on the road, especially if you don't get on the interstate and go back down Kingston. However, it only has 2 buses so you could be waiting a long time in line.

AG Campus is good access back to interstate after you get back on Neyland Drive. And there is more buses.
It's not that bad of a walk if you just want to walk.

Ag is good, plenty of shuttles to the game. Unless you leave early you may be just as well off to walk back. Line gets pretty long pretty quick. We parked there for homecoming and getting out we probably waited 15 minutes before the cop let us onto neyland. I think it's low priority since so many people are in RVs and are probably spending the night.

Pretty much my thoughts after talking to someone who has parked AG. Walk is same basically but more buses for AG. So if going to walk then 40 is best.

I had those same options with my donor ranking, and I decided to go with Locust St. Garage. It looked to be easy to get in and out of. I've parked at both Ag Campus and Lot 14 in the past and both take an extremely long time to get back to if you are waiting on the shuttles after the game. Getting to the game is easy with both lots, but it is a pain getting back to your car unless you walk back.

This will be my 3rd year parking at 40. It is the easiest exit after the game I've ever parked at. The police route you directly from the lot to Alcoa Hwy. I'm usually on the interstate within 3 or 4 minutes of getting in my car.

That was my experience as well - the drawback is the lack of buses. I'm in the AG right now, but if for some reason I end up back in 40, I wouldn't complain.

I've parked in AG in the past, but moved due to the long wait for the shuttle ride back after games. My dad (65) and I used to walk back, but the walk was getting more difficult for him due to some foot and knee problems. Last year we were parking in the 11th St Garage which is a short walk from the stadium and was great. I've also parked in C21 which wasn't bad.

THIS YEAR we don't have the option of 11th Street or C21.

Wondering the best option for my dad. I have the following choices:
Lake Ave Garage, AG campus, 14, UTVC, 40, and Locust Street Garage

Thoughts from someone who has parked there? Especially Lake Ave Garage as that looks like the shortest walk.

I've only parked there once - Oklahoma game in 2015. It was easy to get into, but it was a nightmare getting out. I think we waited in the garage for over an hour before finally getting moving.

The walk: it stays relatively flat if you walk down Lake, and then go to the left side of Hodges Library.

The tailgating scene in the park just beside the garage is very good, but its tough to carry your stuff over there from inside the garage.

Thanks for the input. They've just added C7 to my list of options. Its the lot in front of Lake Avenue Garage. I may go with that as I figure it wouldn't be as bad to get out of as a garage would be. (any experience there?) The bad thing about 11th street garage last year is it would take over an hour to get out.

I've never parked there. My donor rank has me solidly in AG Campus right now, and I think that is where I'll stay.
