I've had Hot Chicken. I'm on board.

Hattie B's is coming to Memphis. I'm pretty excited about it.

Yeah, they said UGA is out if they get Zamir White. And they said Auburn is trending down and that Teague is talking a lot with Gillespie.

I don't want UGA to get Zamir, and I hate that it sounds like UGA is his first choice (very weird), but I want Teague to be a Vol. hope we land him

Haha was it you that called it Buffalo wings a few months back?

Yes. I was kinda just messing with you, just because I could tell how fervent you were about it. But I didn't really get it. I'm fully on board now.

Hot Chicken is good stuff.

Man, I stood in line for 45 minutes in Nashville. Didn't know you could call ahead, but I was just visiting.

:good!:

There is something about walking right past a line 100 deep and walking right back out the door a minute later that makes it taste even better.

Of course, I like to sit down and wait on occasion of I have time.

Not back then. Lambier would've closed lined his ass, Rodman would've mugged him.

Yes back then. Doesn't matter what era LeBron's gonna dominate the cat in front of him. He would be just as if not more physical than both of those dudes.

He did not face people that weighed 270.

Dennis Rodman successfully defended larger players than himself on numerous occasions. He was 6'7" 220 and would guard Shaq in the post. Kemp and Malone are more examples who he did quite well against as well.

You don't know how basketball was played back then.

I got to think with him being a 6'9 260 pound locomotive he would have been able to hold his own from a physicality standpoint. It's hard to out physical a guy who's bigger, stronger and more athletic than you.

I was too young to watch the 80s but you can't be serious. The bad boys would have planted him every time he went to the rack. They tried to literally kill MJ.

And Jordan built his body up to the point where he could take the punishment. Jordan at his absolute strongest still wasn't as strong as LeBron is. I've never bought into the argument that LeBron couldn't have cut it against the Celtics or the Pistons in the 80's. Given his skill set he would have dominated in any era.

LeBron is like Paul Bunyan to some of you, he gets bigger every time you talk about him.

It's not about how big, or athletic he is, and how he dominates in today's game where you can't touch anybody.

Guys like Bill Laimbeer & Charles Oakley weren't athletic, but they absolutely would have stood down on the block and completely murdered him the first time he tried to drive the lane.

So what if they would have? You think because of that LeBron wouldn't have still been an all pro? LeBron pile driving them when he gets in the paint probably wouldn't feel too good for them either lol

Harassed the hell out of Olajuwon too..

LeBron wouldn't have been pile driving them, they were dirty.

They would have side stepped and close lined him, or let him get the bucket and then undercut him on the way down.

He wouldn't be driving the lane for long.

FTR - I think LeBron would excel in any era. But, he wouldn't be allowed to play the way he does now back then.

The players in the 80s and even the 90s wouldn't have just let LBJ just drive and step to the side because he's a physical freak. They seriously would have let him know they were there all night long. You literally can not be touched in today's game. Sure, he would get his but If he played in that era he would check out in a lot of games imo.

Totally different game of basketball back then.

He would have immediately been met out on the wing by someone like Rodman or Pippen with a stiff forearm in his back, and a hand in his stomach if he turned around.

If he gets by them, he can expect an enforcer at the rim. Not ready to block his shot, ready to take his head off....
