Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Velo has gone from somewhat snarky, but level-headed lib to full blown hysterical and *rocking-back-and-forth-talking-to-himself* lib in a short couple months.

The power of Trump. Lol

As the left continues to cry.. Trump continues to dismantle the Obama legacy

...Trump continues to dismantle the Obama legacy, solidify his position as the worst president ever, chase clear thinking conservatives from the party, move ever more closely to impeachment, insure democratic victories in 2018, and embarrass the US on the world stage. Go Trump!

So, outside of the impeachment talk he's just the non-dem Obama part deux.

As far as I'm concerned he gets an "A". If he's got all these liberals passed off this much he has to be doing something right.

You are part of the ever shrinking minority who feels this way. The fact that it's not just liberals who are pissed should maybe give you pause. But keep on with your blind loyalty and support, to do otherwise would actually require intellectual integrity.

It's mostly outrage from the Democratic whiners. I wish he'd just throw your kind a bone so you'd shut the hell up. But then again a bone wouldn't suffice, you have to have the whole damn cow, he'll the whole herd.

The fact that he cannot get his legislation through congress when his party has a clear majority says otherwise.

So you want his legislation to pass?

I like some of Trump's ideas. However, I think it's time an adult (not a blast at Trump, but at every partisan hack in DC) takes control and finds some common ground.

If I were Trump, I would very publicly offer an olive branch and meet with the Hatch, McConnell, Schumer and Durbin. Take control of the meeting with the goal of finding a single issue that everyone feels needs to be addressed. Then find some common ground on that single issue and hammer out a bill. Right ******* there. Tell them to get it passed.

Rinse, lather and repeat. Start with some less contentious issues and then move on to tougher stuff. I think you'd be surprised.

Well, that's the major difference in the GOP and DNC. Conservatives won't fall into lockstep with everything the party wants. They aren't mindless automatons that won't question the Dear Leader.

no but there is clearly a problem with Republican Congressional leadership. Democrats get in power and they unify and pass what they want. Republicans get in power and can't seem to pass anything the President wants done.

No, the problem is Trump and the divide that has been growing in the party for damn near 20 years.

Both houses of congress are the problem. They're a bunch of bought and paid for traitors of the American people. If you really want to focus on something focus on the fat cats in Washington that steal from the American people.

Reagan was a master. He knew he had the support of the majority of the American people. If congress wasn't cooperating he took it the American people and then congress would fall in line.

Cooperation went on the window with Bush 41. When Bush compromised with democrats in allowing a tax raise which he pledged he wouldn't, the dems turned on him and used it against him in the next election. The age of compromising between the parties end then.

"Read my lips". I remember that as a kid.

srs?

Trumps foreign policy decisions are making Obama look like a geopolitical genius, a feat I didn't believe was possible.

Good thing that Trump is having success on his domestic agenda. Amiright?

While you and the other 35% of his base who really don't care what he does so long as it annoys liberals, your myopia is preventing you from seeing the grave yard you're walking past.

this would be great. the fact that it isn't like this all the time is bullspit. really wish we could fire/impeach congressmen.

Good thing that Trump is having success on his domestic agenda. Amiright? It's early

Trump's done nothing but protect American interest to this point. Just because he told NATO members to step up and do their part and decided $100 Billion in welfare dollars to foreign governments with no accountability is bad for the US doesn't make for foreign policy, quite the opposite actually. Despite what you delusional liberals think, you can't buy respect.

No, the problem is Trump and the divide that has been growing in the party for damn near 20 years.

There happens to be a divide in the DNC as well in case you missed it. The only unifying ideal they have at the moment is the fact Trump is President. But make no mistake, the extremist portion of that party is making all the noise, getting all the press and, in turn, chasing off a lot of moderates that might vote for a moderate DNC candidate. Moderate voters don't want to see a bunch of people out causing trouble, starting riots and assaulting people. That's the portion the DNC will lose and continue to lose on a national level so long as the troublemakers are allowed to continue. These voters want a moderate candidate that's not going to bow down to each and every special interest group out there.

And before you say it, no, Hillary was not a moderate candidate. She wasn't a fringe candidate either. She wasn't a candidate period because she had no message other than "I'll continue doing what Obama did and as a bonus, I'm not Trump." While the DNC did run a corrupt and slipshod campaign, Hillary didn't do herself any favors either and is as much to blame as anyone.
