Saw The Police at Atlanta's Fox Theater in the early '80s. After the show, I went to the 688 Club to see The Swimming Pool Qs. Their show was SRO. I'm standing a body length behind the area most likely to become a mosh pit (didn't happen) when two people step up beside me - Sting to my left and Andy Summers to my right. I catch the eyes of both in turn, we nod in acknowledgement and return our focus to the band.
