As was just pointed out to Sean Spicer at his press conference, Ted Nugent once said that Barack Obama should be shot but that didn't stop Trump from inviting him to the White House and to perform at his campaign rallies in Michigan. Both parties are guilty of selective outrage.

I disagree on the mandate. I honestly think if people want to buy, they can buy. If people want to go uncovered and pay cash, they can choose to do so. It's the rising cost of health care that's the issue. As long as insurance companies pay what hospitals are demanding, the hospitals will continue increasing that number. It's a vicious never ending cycle of increasing prices and profits.

True that. Recent ER bill of $17k reduced to $3400 due to no insurance/cash payer. It's ludicrous that the insurance companies get billed 79% more than a cash payer does for the exact same services.
