That Fox reporter was a prick, got an easy story about a moron ruining his kid's endorsement deals, and she constantly tries to turn it into a campaign against women story.

On the subject though, I wonder how well the shoe is selling? He's taking the Trump marketing approach where you act like such a doofus that the media gives you so much free advertising it might actually work lol

Only 500ish pairs have been preordered. And while 250k is probably a decent gross for a brand new company Lonzo would probably get close to 10x that in an endorsement deal

I haven't seen anything for this years prospects, but last year Ben Simmons signed a 7.5 million deal. I couldn't find a number of years but I think 2.5-3million a year for that first endorsement deal seems about right

He is, but Trump is too, and his trashiness ended up making him win. Same thing could happen with Ball. He's got so much free pub, that with a few smart decisions like dropping the price and some luck like Ball not spraining his ankle, he could end up making 10 million over a few years.

Edit got Lonzo and Lavar mixed up. Lonzo is legit, although I don't think he'll be a superstar if he goes about things like his dad does.
