Dobbs wild 24 hours

LOL. Looks like Dobbs will now definitely have a season like Dak Prescott had last year.

Just for reference sake around this time last year, the reports out of Cowboys camp was that Jameill Showers was ahead of Dak Prescott who was struggling in camp.

Look for Josh to win Rookie of the Year.

Top aeronautical engineers can make around $147,000 a year. Live at home? Use last year's tux? Lease? :)

Think he's content with his bachelors?

To be honest I wish him the best, but don't care what path he decides to take.

I can tell you from personal experience, being an engineer isn't exactly a road to riches.

If an engineer starts their own business or works their way into corporate leadership/executives they can earn much more, but it's just not that common.

Josh Dobbs will be a SUPERSTAR in the NFL.

You guys should know by now these NFL reporters don't know anything.

Around this time last year they were touting Jameill Showers as being better than Dak.

You'll twist anything around and try to make it a positive. The fact is that Dak Prescott is/was a lot better when he was drafted than Dobbs is now.

According to the NFL they were the exact same as prospects coming out of college. Both were the 135th overall pick.

I personally believe Dobbs is SIGNIFICANTLY better as a pro prospect than Dak Prescott.

Josh Dobbs will be 1998 Randall Cunningham for a majority of his career. That means he'll be a MVP caliber QB year in year out.

No smart if he purchased.. 4th rounders don't have that type of money after taxes to piss away
Depends on the Maserati. If you're talking about a QP or GT brand new off the lot probably not. But a Ghibli or Levante is a lot more reasonable also if you buy one slightly used (like drove 5 feet off the lot) the depreciation is massive.

In the grand scheme of "expensive cars a Maserati isn't as nutty as some. The real problem with them is maintaining one because underneath engine and tranny are ferrari and those are more expensive to maintain than to buy. You can find a 2015 QP for like 40-60% of what it cost new easily and the average person wouldn't know the difference between a 2014 and a 2017 when i was buying my current car I found a year old QP GTS on the lot for 49k and almost bought it till i did some research on upkeep costs.

Yeah, it's what all Steelers fans want - Big Ben to have a serious injury so Dobbs will get a chance to shine.

I wonder who Antonio Brown and Le'veon Bell want at QB?

Best thing for the Steelers and Dobbs is a couple of years of Josh holding a clipboard

Big Ben always gets banged up. I don't know if Big Ben will get a serious injury but he will miss a game or two. That will give Dobbs a chance to show what he's got.

Personally I think Dobbs gets his shot next year. Though I do hope he finds a way to get a lot of playing time this year. He's ready to play in the NFL right now.

FIFY.......anything is generally positive about Dobbs, it's what he does with it that gets sickening.

As usual, you are taking something and interjecting complete bull**** in it. Noone was touting Showers to being better than Dak, the article you linked was about Showers performing better at one practice.......one.

He clearly isn't and wont for a couple of years if even then. He's not going to take a single snap this year in the regular season, unless Ben and Jones are injured.

We're at an impasse on anything empirical until the preseason where Dobbs should get some snaps. At that point some kind of meaningful discussion can at least be started.

And how many practices does the article the other guy linked cover? Two?

I posted that article to show how ridiculous the other article was.

No, you babbled about how the general consensus was that Showers was better than Dak..... Which, not a single person said. One article stated that in one practice a player performed better than the other..... The other article stated that Dobbs is a project and has a long road ahead.

I just saw video on ESPN of Dobbs practicing with the Steelers today, taking snaps. Can't find the video yet online. Perhaps a Steeler's fan has access to it through another forum? :hi:

This subject line is really misleading. An actual "wild 24 hours" usually involves waking up to something like multiple scantily clad females, an empty magnum of champagne on your chest, a duck, a can of peaches, a slinky, and your crying girlfriend running away Saying she's going to tell your mom on you or you're not doing it right. Dobbs ain't doing it right ... yet. There is still hope for him though!

I can understand all of it but the slinky......
