This is actually a bit of a myth due to the optics involved. Bolt is fast as hell at every stage of a sprint. When he ran his 9.58 he ran the fastest split even at 20m. I believe the only person to even match Bolt at 40m was Michael Green.

Leonard Scott 2.0. Just let him return kicks and send him deep on pass plays as a decoy. Those were Scott's best contributions.

He was a receiver in high school, but not highly recruited. He's short for a wide out and not built like a RB. He's going to get a free education, win some NCAA T&fF nattys and then go make bank on the world t&f circuit.

Completely false, unless he becomes THE fastest man in the world, and dominates to the point of Bolt, he has a much better chance at making more in 1 year of the NFL than he does in 5 or more in track. Why do you think Jeff Demps kept trying to stay in the NFL instead of running on the pro circuit?

Football? Barnes should try him at point, with basically handles he could do some things in transition .

Nothing new. Been tried here and several other schools with varying degrees of success. Willie Gault, Leonard Scott are somewhat notable examples.

The best of the bunch for WR was easily Bob Hayes. After that it's probably Gault and James Jett. (best name for a sprinter ever)

The best legit burner football player besides Hayes would have to be Darrell Green.

Adding Cliff Branch to the WR list.

Just put him as a wide out and run deep every play. By the second half the entire secondary would be worn out.

There's no doubt Prime Time could run but I mostly threw Green out there to offset the WR group.

The fastest to be legit football players would be Hayes on O and Green on D. Both were sub-10.1 sprinters with All Pro football careers.

Trivia-while he didn't do it until after playing football and focusing on track as far as I know our own Leonard Scott still has the fastest 100m time of anyone that's ever been a legit/high level football player with a 9.91.
