Barnett to Philly

Sorry to disappoint you..... Kamara will be a Steeler to replace an old DeAngelo WIlliams.
D. Williams & Kamara have the same skill set. He woud work perfectly as a compliment to Bell....
Kamara is not big enough to be a 30 carry per game player....

Pretty slim chance they take a RB in the second (and if they did, AK wont be there at 62 IMO). Would be willing to bet they go CB (Wilson) if they trade up and if they don't trade up, DL Adams.

WHY?!?! Why couldn't he have fallen to my Cowboys?!?!

Definitely dislike the Cowboys, a lot. However; I heard Jerry Jones told the players this:

" Yes, you play in the N.F.L., but when it comes down to it, you play for me. If any of you disrespect the National Anthem or the American Flag, you will out of here."

I gained a lot of respect for Jerry Jones for that, but still don't like the Cowboys.........

wonder how philly fans are receiving the news? i'm sure the Reggie White connection isn't lost on them.

hope they're not billing him to be that...and equally hoping they know what they're getting in Derek Barnett.

Mixed feelings as usual. Some of us are hyped.

Most have come around on him after learning about Foster and Allen's injury issues.

We needed a young pass rusher and we got one.

yeah, i was floating around a couple of Philly sites last night and the overall impression i got was they were happy with the pick, but no one was ready to jump up and down and say they've arrived.

did see one guy, and he was pretty much all alone here, that wasn't necessarily poo pooing the pick, but he was quick to point out every little thing he thought was a negative.

one of the ones i chuckled at was he made a comment stating that "half the time, he wasn't even blocked, the other half of the time, the qb held the ball for 10 seconds"

said he "watched the tape" and told any that disagreed, he'd just say "check the vid".

lol. he was the exception though.

Deon said that " Philly fans are different that TN fans. Philly fans have high expectations." I spewed my drink when I heard that....

Yeah. I heard that as well and wondered if Sanders has ever watched a college football game he wasn't playing in. Bet he has never played in front of 102k fans.

And one of my kids went to FSU. Was there on game day. Nowhere near the same at UT on game day.

especially when you have Vinny, Rocco and Sal yelling at you from the stands while wearing their wife beaters

You have no idea how true your post is! My wife is from S. Philly and every time I go up there I engage in "friendly" banter.
