No excuse for him not playing more last year. As bad as that defense was what difference would it have made if he made a few mistakes.

I have issues with a few personnel decisions from last year.

Hope it improves this year.

Warrior wasn't ready last year. He didn't know his assignments. It's not fair to the rest of the D to put someone out there who is a liability. Shoop said he's the most improved player from a mental standpoint this spring. He should see a much larger role this year if that stays true.

Shoop said that Warrior has commented on how he can't believe how easy it is this year and doesn't know why he had such a hard time getting it last year. He has always been a great athlete but it sounds like the switch got clicked sometime between the end of the season and spring practice. I'll bet Warrior is a permanent fixture in the defensive backfield this year.

I ran the St. Jude's Half Marathon through downtown Memphis and I gots the bullet holes and knife wounds to prove it. :blink:

He did. Bit on a pump fake and let his man slip behind him I believe. A lot of plays cost us that game but Warriors mistake was crucial as well. He is going to be a stud for us. I can't wait to watch him play this year. But he wasn't ready mentally last year. Shoop has said that, and even Warrior himself has even said that.

Anyways back to shi..... stuff that actually matters... CB's looking like they are catching on to The Techniques... it's all about technique.... nose over toes and keep those hips closed quick twich and get beat play through the receiver... and most importantly... STAY IN PHASE.... Martin will ball out this year.... he will be doing some things... 😎

I speak a little Rish. I believe he missed saying something special for his 3,000th post so was trying to rectify the situation with his 3,010th post. I could be wrong though. He might have gotten into InVol's moonshine stash and be stinking drunk. :thud:

100% accurate. He wasn't ready mentally last year, this year will be a different story.
