The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced their first wave of pre-draft visitors and they include two quarterbacks. Hold onto your butts, people.
Ray Fittipaldo tweeted out the news of the four players: QBs Josh Dobbs and Patrick Mahomes, and WRs Josh Reynolds and Kenny Golladay.
Or...he could just be a baseball fan. Doug Dickey attended pretty regularly, if I recall.
Dickey might have attended some games back in the day to blow time, but ADs don't have that much time nowadays. An AD popping into a nonrevenue sport for ~20 minutes unannounced is not a normal event.
That will be my last post on this though. Sorry, for bringing info to a discussion that posters were involved in guys.

Sooo....when he asked your opinion on whether or not we should retain Serrano, what did you tell him? I am just giving you a little grief. If you're going to make a statement like you did , you really should be prepared for people to question where you got your information.
IMO if they go alum, he should be the one because he has stayed close to recruiting with his camps, etc. Came in second to Serrano last time. I doubt Todd would want to get into recruiting and such, kind of a similar situation with him and baseball as Peyton and football. Would be nice if they could team up and do it together though.
Could be a good indicator of how Currie thinks combined with his marching orders from the higher ups.
People were talking about wanting Serrano fired, I alerted them to a situation that could give them hope it was going to happen.
Currie being there was a fact. ADs going to games-- especially unannounced-- being odd is a fact. Me extrapolating that to mean he was checking on a coach that he might need to be replacing in his young tenure at UT was opinion.
I'm pretty sure he will be thought of a lot more fondly down the road a piece. His career highlight reel of just his runs is long and spectacular.
No way Helton or Burke are qualified to be the next coach at tenn. Not even close
Last guy was more than qualified.
Give me Burke over Helton. Burke wanted the job last time and I think he even got an interview.
I am not one who thinks that former players are the answer. In fact, I usually think the opposite. I don't want Peyton to ever coach here and I'm not one of the people wanting Al Wilson to come back and coach linebackers.
But I'm kinda thinking it's time to go outside the box for a baseball hire.
If Chris Burke wants to be the HC at Tennessee he needs to get into college coaching first.
