You know there's only 32 picks in the first round, correct?
Thats a big, emphatic, capital Y-E-S, Shoop said demonstrably when asked if Warrior was taking advantage of his chance this spring. Hes probably been the best player through the first third of camp here.
Ive coached for a long, long time and his maturity, the way hes grown up as a man over the last three or four months, the relationships hes developed with his teammates and his coaches, trying to do everything right in the meeting rooms, on the field and in the community its as good as Ive ever seen. Thats more than a mouthful from Shoop who can sometimes be a little taciturn when critiquing or praising players.
Furthermore, Warrior clearly had a difficult time earning the detail-oriented Shoops trust as a freshman. Not that its uncommon for a freshman to have trouble earning playing time, but the Vols werent exactly fielding an all-star caliber secondary last fall. Yet Warrior still had difficulty earning playing time from Shoop.
Its safe to say that the level of trust between the two is in a different place now based off of Shoops post practice comments on Thursday. To hear Shoop tell it, the light has simply come on for Warrior. He came in with such high expectations last year because of who he is, another legacy guy and we probably put him in situations that he wasnt ready for at times last year. He gets it now, Shoops said of Warrior.
We were sitting in a meeting the other day and he just looked at me and said, I dont know how I didnt understand all this stuff last year. This is so easy. Hes a totally different person and hes really excelled through the first five days. I hope he continues on that progression.
Eh I don't think it's ignorant because people who say retarded to mean silly or dumb know what they're doing for the most part.
At this point it's basically just a way someone can indicate they disagree with today's overly-PC culture without havinf to go through the trouble of thinking up something clever to say (which is ironic, in a way).
Well when a single post has a hint of anti-Semitism, mixed with a lack of sensitivity for mental illness, plus includes derogatory name calling of the disabled then that post is not a demonstration of a lack of cleverness.
I would think a military man, of all people, would show a little more respect to all three category of people. Or, maybe he's just National Guard.

What was anti-semetic about my post?
I do question the mental status of some folks on here. The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. They are posting the same thing over and over and expecting the rest of us to react differently.
As for being a military man, I have served our nation for over 18 years and put myself and my family second to my service on numerous occasions. I shouldn't matter if I am active Army, National Guard, or Reserve. It shouldn't matter if I'm Army, Air Force, Marine, Navy, or the Coast Guard. If you have served then you should know that. If you haven't then cork your hole because you have earned the right to say anything about my service.
I will stand up in defense of any person in this country including you. I don't care about race, religion, or anything else. You don't know thing one about me. Feel free to exercise your freedom of speech though. My military service has helped make sure that you have that one.
Doesn't feel good to be called names does it?
I wonder if this would work.
FS: Warrior
SS: Gaulden
CB: Osborne
CB: Martin
The others as reserves....
A lot of athleticism to play with.

I think last year they played that nickel back as force a lot so I think that is why you saw Gaulden at NB but supposedly they are changing scheme a little bit and if they do....I wonder if this would work.
