Most of us probably agree on this but it depends how it plays out.Sometimes keeping a coach becomes "not worth it" because they lose all their juice on the recruiting trail and the perception that they are a hot seat coach becomes reality and then leads to their firing.
The next coach may not be any better than Butch Jones but it may be time to move on to the next guy after this season if he isn't able to instill some confidence that he is the right guy to lead us for the next few years.
If he goes 8-4 and we hire another project coach then my butt will not be in the seat. If we can't hire a top coach then I am done if we do that after another 8-4 year. Will focus money on Braves season tickets instead.

My only question is why would you then invest the money on Braves baseball? I don't expect them to do much in the immediate future.
I think there's a good chance he gets fired at 8-4.
I could also see a scenario where he is retained at 7-5.
I think they'll be fun to watch this year. They have some young pieces to build on. Once their rock star pitching makes it to the majors --- look out. I think they'll be very good as early as next year. Maybe the year after.
