So just as I know you guys would like, I stayed with QBs and WRs during the open periods.
So out of those two I'll obviously start with my WR thoughts:
- Callaway is the vocal leader of the group
- Callaway and Byrd are extremely smooth with the ball and look the part
- George is a stick man, really needs to put on some weight
- Other than that, the unit looks really crisp going through drills
And I guess I can mention the QBs:
- I hate to throw a wrench into the current calmness of the board, BUT I have changed by Dormady v. Guarantano position. Guarantano should start.
- You really have to be on the field to see how effortless and pretty his passes are. It's almost like they are pulled into the receiver's hands by gravity.
- Dormady is massive and can definitely take a hit. He also isn't as "unathletic" as people espouse.
- There is a difference between the two though. Guarantano is the better passer and has quicker footwork.
We won't be hurt if Dormady gets the nod, or if we try both vs GTech, but Guarantano is the superior QB.
