Tennessee is in the process of applying for a medical redshirt for defensive tackle Alexis Johnson from last season, but the Vols haven't heard back from the NCAA.
If he gets the redshirt, he'll be a junior again this season. If not, he'll be a senior.
Tennessee feels like it has a pretty good case, so I anticipate him getting the redshirt. But we'll see.
