Exactly. I have been enjoying this QB discussion. We have 2 good options to go with, IMO. We may differ in opinion, but we all are Vol fans and want to see our team win. Cheers to all for a healthy and positive spring practice!

I don't believe we can win the SEC at all with #12 running the offense.

I read the details about changing the offense to the players you have as Scott and Butch finding a way to win no matter who takes the snaps.

If it's QD probably attacking with passing and run game more than read option.

If it's JG I'd say similar to Dobbs offense in power spread/read option

I wouldn't trust him in a pro-style offense.....

It's the trajectory that's the problem. As far as I'm concerned, she's never coached well. She's out-talented other teams. That's not going to keep being the case if she can't win with them.

I think that she is in WAY over her head. I think that she was a very good assistant, but will never be a good head coach. At this point, I am afraid that she still has too many allies within the Administration for anything to be done. The best thing that could happen is that she would resign, but we know that is just not going to happen. It's very sad. Our program will sink even lower now, I am afraid.

Get it out of your system because football starts at 4 PM and if you discuss womens bball in a football thread once football has commenced you curse us and nobody wants that especially after the Davey curse has just now dissipated.

JG has a lot of tools, the first concern I had with him was in the all American game where he was to be the clear cut starter and wound up coming in the game third. It wasn't his physical ability that held him back but the mental aspect. Time will tell how he has matured, I'm not sure anyone on the roster is more cerebral than QD. That would be a reason QD would win the battle over JG.

WTH are you talking about? Who told you that is why he came in later in a all star game? It was a freaking all star game. If you wanna see what kind of player he is find footage of his performance against IMG.

Same here, Buffalo. O line should be a strength with good weapons at receiver and running back. If JG is as advertised it should be a pretty tough offense to handle.

Not one of them has consider digging an interconnected series of tunnels like the Viet Cong in order to have multiple vantage points of both the indoor and outdoor practice fields.

Right now, I think the Vols only would be willing to take a few of the QBs they're pursuing, with Fields obviously being one of them. They also seem to like Justin Rogers of Louisiana, and I think Cal commit Adrian Martinez is fairly high on Tennessee's board.
