UT should compete for the SEC title in Women's basketball every year. They should be in the elite 8 or better every year as well.

Living up to Summit's standards is not the expectation. Simply achieving instead of underachieving is.

Spring game freshman year threw dimes to Pig and Malone. Against Western Carolina hit PW for about 50 yards off balance under pressure. Hit PW in the same game on the run for a TD. Glimpses of being a great passer, time will tell. Seems like from past practice reports he puts the ball on the money.

Keeping Sheriron Jones on the roster will be crucial if Price's thoughts are accurate.

It's cool to see that Hubbs and Price think that Litaker and Lawless are so close to committing!

The one thing that sticks out in my mind about Dormady is him throwing the ball away on a 4th and Goal situation in the spring game and the subsequent chastising he got from Butch.

Spring game is where you want to make those stupid mistakes if the mistakes are made.

I didn't say that. However, I do expect us to have a coach who knows how to actually coach. Most of the times we look lost on the court...hmm, I wonder why? Maybe because who is supposed to be the leader of the team is just as lost?

I have to agree. Also, we have to realize that Pat was the reason the women's teams are better than they use to be.

Give her another year and see what happens.

For those that still want Holly, did UK accept this level of performance for the men's team by keeping lesser coaches? They even got rid of one that gave them a NC (Tubby). LV's have been the equivalent in women's basketball. Top 2 program in history. You hire to stay on top, which is the FF with an occasional NC, or you don't and become irrelevant over time. Then you keep hiring the best available until you hit the right one and ride them until they don't do it any more and replace. This is not hard. UT chose the loyalty to Pat/Joan/Donna/etc. route over hiring the best available. Nothing wrong with that if that is your goal. There is the same difference between the haves and have nots in the women's game there always has been even with the roster talent improving. Lower seeds are still getting outscored by top seeds 3/4-1 like they always have been. Parity is a joke.

In football we were not Bama, UF, OSU, etc. If staying on top was the goal, when Phil first went downhill you replace him. It wasn't, they didn't. Which is the issue in all sports at UT. Winning multiple NC's has been replaced with compete at a reasonably high level and make money, or break even if possible in lesser sports.

Which leads to where we are today.

Holly will never get it done. No one wanted her to be successful more than me. She could have the US Olympic team suited up for the lady Vols and screw it up. Some people have it and some people don't. Holly doesn't have it. I have zero confidence she'll ever be more than a mediocre coach at best.

Yep - a 180 degree turn the wrong direction. She can't even give a coherent interview. I've reached the whatever stage.

Well you have been all about JG since he signed and haven't even seen JG play a down. We have seen limited play from QD and for me has looked good in that limited time. How many schools? Really silly question coming from a know it all. Just like Peterman, IF and I say IF QD doesn't get the starting nod there would be plenty of schools that would love to have him come in. You have never given him much chance with your love affair with JG. I say QD has a great chance and the talent to start for us.
