There was another play in the last 4 minutes where Arky double teamed the PG for UNC, knocked the ball away cleanly for the steal so the PG fell down like he had been shoved and they called a foul on Arky.

We would not be in the Sweet 16 with their first 2 games. They beat 2 teams that earned their way into the tournament and we weren't even close to making said tournament.

It's ok to recognize when another SEC school is doing well. Mike White looks to be well on his way to doing well at UF.

I agree with your last paragraph. But we beat ETSU on the road, and I would guess that UVA was probably the weakest top 5 seed in the tournament. So, I believe his point is somewhat valid. But luck of the draw is part of the NCAAT.

So just saw where Michigan State just lost to KU...but saw where MSU lost 15 games for the year....how in the hell did they get in the tournament as a 9 seed? They really didn't beat anyone of significance during the year. I mean they lost to Northeastern for goodness sakes!!

There's a northeastern university?

That's laughable.

Well, yes and no. The class(es) was open to all students, and was about 50/50 athletes to non-athletes iirc. So, it's not an NCAA issue but rather a university issue. I'm with them to that point. BUT, maybe all the athletes that cheated the system should have been evaluated and punished individually by the NCAA. So, maybe no hammer or team punishment, but athletes could have been ruled ineligible for a set time. It is laughable that the NCAA just completely looked the other way.

So you can skirt the rules by letting the general student population in on the cheating. Hypothetically, if I pay any player it will be ok as long as I pay an equal amount to non-athletes?

If scar beats duke tonight, I'll be in first in my tourney pool, everybody ahead of me has duke in the final four or champ game except me

That is pretty much UNC's actual defense. They claim they have already been punished by being placed on double secret academic probation by the accrediting body.
