The episodes are supposed to be longer than normal from what I read a while back. Probably not long enough tho.

Who could best the Mountain that Rides?

I don't agree with some of these and wondered why Brianne was left out... I'd swap her out for H'Ghar's spot - who would get owned in a direct confrontation with Gregor.

I read it a while back on Westeros website. Some people posted articles about it. Just going by what I read on there and guessing the extra time. It said 7 episodes this season and they would be longer than the 10 episode seasons in the past. It all may be hogwash but I hope they are longer since there is less episodes.

The directors of Game of Thrones have confirmed that HBO will be doing a spin-off of the series but they will not be directing only writing. They also confirmed that the final season will be 6 episodes.

I really hope HBO doesn't rush this show out the door like they have done to other shows... Boardwalk Empire comes to mind... many story arc endings felt watered down as a result

Yup. They did it to start on "Vinyl" too.

Good move guys. One whole season before it was canceled.

I think you mean to say the showrunners of Game of Thrones have said they will be watching but not involved with the series.

HBO isn't deciding the show needs to end. The showrunners have decided the story only has 13 episodes left.
