Mixon was a problem and you could see this coming with the history he had. Mosley did nothing to warrant keeping him on the team. Long overdue IMO. Glad to see dead weight and problems being cleaned up. Some players just don't recognize the opportunity being given. If they fail to take advantage of it or are incapable of doing so, they need to move on.

Those same players really looked awful agaisnt Nebraska and looked reallg good against Ap State, hub Mr. Bundy? I i guess your savior Butch Jones has built in excuses for that as well.

Maybe if i end all my post with amiright id be cool too.

You and I don't often agree (our conversations probably look pretty rough to most folks) with each other when it comes to the semantics of TN football, but I personally don't categorize you like a lot of folks do on here. It's obvious to me that you are passionate about UT football, whether I agree with your opinions or not. I can't say that for a lot of people on here.

I also try to look at it with a little empathy. You live in Alabama. That has GOT to take a toll on a man. Day in day out waking up in that hell hole cannot be easy.

Absolutely. A decent coach would have let him ride the pine from the OL the entire time. Champions start with consistency for the scrubs.

He had a bad wreck with his family a couple years ago which almost killed him and was out for an extended period of time with I believe a broken leg. He must have not been able to come back from that.

My brother moved down there for a while with his job. It was his worst experience ever to live there and said it was like getting out of jail but better.

The junk we have to put up with from the bammers over their football team. That's the only thing the got going for them is football. The whole place if full of criminals and transplants, sure you might could fill a row boat with Honest bammers, but I doubt a school bus.

I will give them credit for Gulf Shores. Pacific Ocean is where the real action is.

Im definately a Vols fan and i dont live in Alabama by choice, just the way life works out. The only other college i go for is Navy, i dont like anyone else in any sport.
Living in Alabama is not to bad where i live, but because its a good mix of people. Lots of Miss St, Mizzou fans, lots of Vols fans too along with the Alabama school. But what i see now is most of my Alabama friends dont even talk trash anymore. A few will ask what i think about the game when its close but they usually just say ok. Honestly they consider it a gimme game, so ill be glad to get back to the trash talk.

For this board, i caught on to the overreaction real quick and often find them funny. Even when you ask a legitimate question and people see a midway of a back and forth, they will over react like they know what they are talking about. Then you have those le sameolvol that swoop in and tell you how stupid you are cause they cant take their high school lettermam jacket off after y0 years. So every now and then ill over exaggerate something to see what kind of reaction ill get from the usually suspects. But i think once the Vols start winning, it will calm down. Right now people get self conscious trying to make the Vols look better than what they are. Its pretty funny, but its all good.

I do find it funny that folks think im a bama fan though. Why would an Alabama act like a tennessee fan right now? It just makes no sense.

Yeah. That's kind of stupid. Bama fans have no reason to pretend. They're the elite of college football right now.

Also. I love your Avi. Being a retired Marine, I'm also a Navy fan. Aside from that, I think that particular helmet is the sharpest looking helmet in football.

I'm sure we'll continue to disagree on different aspects of college football and UT in particular. Just wanted you to know that even though we disagree, I don't lump you into a category the way many do. We both speak passionately from two different view points...and that's ok.

Me too. Was counting on him to be part of a pretty good DL. The guy made some plays, looked good, and flexibility to move inside some. Dang.

Moseley just wasn't going to crack the rotation. If he didn't hit the field on the OL and especially DL last year, then there's no hope.

remember I told you all this. I hope the changes make a few others change their minds. I've spoken to others and told them patience is key. I was told these 2 wouldn't make a decision until after Spr ball. I guess things change.

Attrition happens every year to every team during every spring. Only so many spots and the weak gets pushed out.
