Said Coach Fulmer and Blackburn were never going to get the job based on the qualifications of being a sitting power 5 AD. One person on the committee wanted Fulmer and that was Charlie Anderson. When they met with Fulmer in Nashville for an interview, Charlie wasn't included because of this. Cunningham was the top choice but ended up backing out and this put them in scramble mode. Also said Currie treated Fulmer very bad in the entire process of the firing and he was kind of the ring leader behind it. Currie told boosters back then that they were going after Gruden. Said based on the qualifications that the chancellor required for the AD, had the same qualifications been required for her position, she wouldn't have been hired.

Think I'll wait until he beats the people he is paid a ridiculous amount to beat.

Until then, best I can tell, he gets worshipped for beating the same teams we beat in bowls every year. Except they're considered trash when we beat them. Like Iowa.. oh, that's right.

I'll take a hard pass on Harbaugh. He is certifiably insane and hasn't done much in a terrible conference with a ton of NFL talent. Don't give me that he doesn't get credit for developing them. He didn't have this many draft prospects in one year at Stanford.

I love how our coach is the worst pile of garbage in existence. Granted, he has screwed the pooch a few times but he is still young as far as his HC time. He is learning and surrounding himself with top assistants but our unstable impatient fanbase wants to burn him at the stake. Then we turn around and praise the heck out of anybody else even while criticizing our coach for beating the majority of the same teams those coaches beat. Or we drool over sleaze balls like Hugh Freeze or Art Briles while ignoring the fact that our present coach has cleaned up a program that was miserable in both NFL production, educational emphasis, and simple quality human being production.

By all means though, let's give Harbaugh all the credit for the current UM situation. He has his own faults too by the way. We just choose not to see him because he is the grass on the other side of the fence. Kind of like how the backup QB is the best player on the team, if only we would give him a chance.

He's been sick and ordered not to participate yesterday by a doctor. You try and run your best 40 time a day after being ordered to bed rest by your doctor.

If he is sick, he shouldn't have run.

For a guy who's athleticism is a concern to teams, coming in lighter and running slower than expected is not good anyway you spin it.

If anything he's getting brownie points for manning up and showing a fraction of what he has. Oh and by the by even while sick he's still showing why he's one of the best DLs at the combine
