As the starter of this thread, i'd also like to put this out there....
His Freshman year, Jalen Hurd was the most dominate RB i've ever personally witnessed at UT. His last year here left much to be desired, but he was absolutely electric with the ball when he was in his "prime".
He'll end up like a Lemarcus Coker, Bryce Brown or Da'Rick Rogers. Infinite potential, sullied by crappy decisions and a poor support system.
Most dominant ? If so, you haven't watched football for very long. Keep watching though it can be good.

I'm 29 and the most dominant freshman I've ever seen run the ball is a gentleman named Jamal Lewis
I'm basing it on his performance. That's what makes him elite. They're making weak emotional arguments simply because they don't like him
Jamal was awesome but here is Reggie Cobb's freshman season highlights who was pretty good.

7th best rushing season in TN history
Finished his career 6th in team history in rushing despite only playing about 2.5 years. Would've broke the record if he would've stayed.
Those are things that make you "elite". When you're a sophomore and you have one of the best season in school history, that's "elite".
