Honestly this is my thinking also...you can always find value RBs
Pete Prisco‏
@PriscoCBS 15h
The more I look at RB class, the more convinced I am I wouldnt take one of these guys in the first round. They dont decide games anymore.
Draft one in third. Beat him up. Run him into the ground. Let him go. Draft another. Cruel. So dont let you sons grow up to be RBs
Prisco's a bit over the top, but it is absolutely true that the position is devalued. Teams spend less and less on RBs every year, even though the cap keeps growing.
More from Bucky Brooks...
Interesting observation... McCaffrey, Kamara and few others ran routes from the slot at the end of the RB workout. Both looked natural @ WR
He was getting late 1st/early 2nd grades because scouts were banking on him doing better than an average of 4.59 in the 40. 40 matters too much for RBs for that not to hurt him. His jumps were awesome, but they aren't going to outweigh the 40 time. His bench press was also bad (which doesn't matter a ton, but still hurts).
Dude was a game changer and we didn't get enough value out of him
He was caught from behikd on his big run at Florida in 2015, left sideline. He has excellent speed for a qb and he's an outstanding athlete in general. But let's not make him out to be Michael Vick here. I'm guessing he runs in the low 4.6s tomorrow.
I said no way in hell. I have been saying second round for a while now. I still think so. His 40 times did nothing to change my mind.
Did you think you were about to get a gotcha moment?

Kamara's combine performance tells us what about CBJ?
Oh yea, D4H is an buffoon..
Worley was a better passer but him being on his back constantly allowed Dobbs to show his talent.
Statistically that is not true. Dobbs has better passing numbers across the board. Whether its completion percentage, yards per pass attempt, TD to INT ratio, oe QB rating. Dobbs outclasses Worley by a significant margin.
There is no objective truth to this myth that Worley was a better passer. None. And people need to stop saying it cause it has no proof behind it.
Just check out the stats:
Joshua Dobbs College Stats | College Football at Sports-Reference.com
Justin Worley College Stats | College Football at Sports-Reference.com
Not even close.
You're comparing stats that are diluted with different Vol teams. Dobbs is a better quarterback but because he was mobile, you will see better stats. There was no way any pocket passer could have sat behind that line without putting mediocre numbers. Also, 2013 and 2014 is all I'm going to look at. Oh wow, Josh had 2 TD and 6 INTs? So Eliteeee
LOL @ comparing Dobbs as a true freshmen to Worley as a redshirt junior.
We're talking about who should have been a starter going into 2014.
Dobbs was clearly better in 2014. He performed better during the spring game. And when he finally got his chance against Alabama he proved to be much better.
You're reaching bro. Nothing in those numbers suggest Worley was anywhere close to the passer Dobbs was.
Says the guy who said "all elite RBs dominate in the NFL year one."
In that matter, if Dobbs was so talented, he should have been phenomenal but he wasn't. He was an average passer, and a gifted runner. Give up trying to hold on to your claims.
Do you even see your biasness? It's quite amazing.
Are you seriously going to compare the transition from QB at one level of football to another with RB? Seriously?
If that is your argument then just quit already cause you lost.
I'm all for hating on Bama fans....but no way can you regulate someone posting on a rivals board who is well within rules. I suggest you just get over it

I was the first guy to say Alvin would be a first round pick.
I was also the first guy to say last year that 4-5 RBs would go in the first round.
When I said both these statements people also said I was stupid/crazy. And now its looking like reality.
