If he would've stayed he would've been out team's all time leading rusher. As a sophomore he had one of the best seasons in team history.

He already had more carries than Henry and was still several hundred yards from the record.

He had more carries than anyone except Foster. Hurd's 4.5 ypc was one of the worst in the top 20 rb in Tenn history. The only player that avg less was Hardesty.

One would struggle to make the argument that Hurd was elite even among Tenn rbs. Hurd wouldn't come to mind when considering SEC rbs.

Helicopter Mom,, Look it up, My boss actually had some parents of an employee ask for a meeting with my boss, to ask for a raise and promotion for their son.. My boss being a true child from the baby boom era, promptly fired their sons ass on the spot!!,
Its a different world folks.. From middle school to Hs,, 4 years, Jalen went to Goodpasture, then MBA, then to public school at Beech in his county, to getting injured game 1 SR year and then only attending 1 more Beech game, maybe 2.. Kid is incredible talent, but has gotten HORRIBLE advice from his family!! Horrible, its sad..

Especially at any other school, Hurd is one and done anyway. You don't think his mother and other spokespeople won't be trashing your program and players if just every little thing does not go Jalen's way?? The more they go public the more people realize no matter how much talent that kid had, past tense used as nobody knows what he's been doing or shape he is in, the more you don't need that poison around your house.

Here's what we do know, Jalen Hurd is a cancer, Jalen Hurd is a quitter,and Hurd's family is disgraceful. He pissed away a pretty good NFL opportunity, and the family vultures are flying around the carcus. BTW he is a mediocre player.

I bet those same people had Tn winning the east last year. you posting this junk like nobody has seen him run the ball. Show us some video where he broke 4-5 long runs for scores. Heck show me 1 and I will show you 1 video where he was caught behind the los 4-5 times.
Hurd isn't and never was an elite RB and never will be. You must be related to him or something and you can stop with the (he) had the best season his sophomore year and that don't make him elite either. The only history he will ever have at Tn is the kid was a quitter.

Your right he's got loads of talent but it was painfully obvious that for whatever reason he quit trying and when it wasn't there or upon first contact he fell like he tripped over his own feet. Just watch tapes from previous years to this past one.


And the moms response seemed to me like she was just trying to save face when she should have just left it lain to die.

Pray for Hurd. This is hurting his draft stock and they act as if it is not. One thing teams hate are interfering parents.

It's opinions but I won't say he doesent have talent it's obvious he does he just has a piss for attitude when things aren't perfect

The dude brought this on himself. I don't blame the team for not wanting to put it on the line for a guy who wouldn't do the same in return. He's not getting drafted he's looking for a team and with how much of this is public he'll be hard pressed to find a good one.

The kid had talent but being talented don't make you elite. His ego and people kissing his butt from high school and then at Tn with BJ kissing it didn't help him at all. Look where all that has gotten him.

Exactly, he's far from elite except for inside his own head. He didn't help himself and his parents are pouring gas on the fire.
