Better for Hurd's family to stay quiet and let everybody think they are fools, than to continue to post statements that remove all doubt.

This is nothing but petty jealousy. Kamara always was the better player. Butch should be shot for not starting Kamara.

Alvin will have a great career, he should have been the man in the beginning. If we don't fumble the ball away at A@M we win big time. First game starting and he went off on the aggies, lost a big fumble on a long run but he had a great day that could have been spectacular without the turnovers. Hurd looked slow and played like he was going through the motions. The best thing Hurd's momma could do to help her son is keep her mouth shut. GBO!!!!

This seems like a family you'll see on Judge Judy suing each other over car payments.

I'm not taking up for Butch but I suspect there was pressure from someone to play one over the other.

Probably a family member threatening with false accusations

really glad this family has nothing to do with UT anymore.

This is the same woman that gets arrested at her sons games though. Kinda expect this type stuff. Sure, Alvin should have been the primary guy but hey hes doing big things and the Hurd's are pissing it away. Thats on them.

classless taking shots at a guy who was friends with your son and has done nothing to you at all. Theyre an embarrassing family. Meanwhile her son has no school, no position in the NFL and the other guy is shooting up draft boards.

I really liked Hurd when he was here, but if you look at past history not many kids have transferred out of Tennessee and had good results wherever they end up. Except Lennon Creer who did his damage at La tech.

hindsight is 20/20. nobody saw what went down with hurd coming after his sophomore year. should alvin have been used more absolutely and i think if they came in at the same time he mightve gotten the nod over hurd. but people are forgetting hurd was very productive his first 2 years here

My problem with Butch was the fact he barely used Kamara. Not that he had Hurd as the starter.

There was no reason to put your 2nd or 3rd best offensive player on the bench for 70% of the game.

Kamara should have been essentially a co-starter.

If she said people will see that my son is a better football player that would have been alright. But what she said was an attack on Alvin's character. His character has not been questioned while he was at Tennessee. Attacking character is wrong on so many levels.

Exactly. Why was Kamara given a max of 10 touch's per game? Frustrating!

I could understand if she's hopping onto twitter to react in defense of her son, no issues there. But to jump on to post that proactively, about Alvin Kamara? No pass for her on this one imo. No call for it and classless to boot.
