Even though I am a bit Liberal I've let it be known here that I don't support the Left's position on gun control. I fully support the NRA's positions on guns.
I was just curious about VN gun ownership.
I currently own:
Kahr PM9 9mm
Sig P226 9mm
Ruger LCR 38sp +P
Ruger LCP 380
Ruger SR45 black 45cal (amazingly accurate and easy to shoot)
S&W M&P45 Full Size w/TLR-1 Streamlight and Truglo tritium fiber optic, Thumb safety, nightstand gun.
Ruger 10/22 with Nikon 3-9
Browning BAR .243 Grade II made in Belgium in 1972
I carry my PM9 every day where it is legal and some places where it is not.
Not a big fan of GLOCK. Great shooting and rugged guns but I prefer semi's with safeties. I know I'm in a minority there. My PM9 has a more revolver like trigger thus I'm fine with no safety on it.

Hey all
does anyone have any experience with fore-grips on the AR platform? Im in the market and have only shot with a friends magpul stubbie fore-grip, anyone have any time with the angled grip? they intrigue me but would love some feed back if anyone has any trigger time with them. thanks!
I had a HK P30L that was DA/SA and holy crap that DA pull was all the safety anyone would ever need.
Are you talking about the Magpul AFG-2?

That doodad?
I have some experience, but went (back) to a stubby BCM vert grip which mainly gets used as a handstop until the fore end gets too warm.
I know some that love the AFG, but others just pass on them. Depends on how you hold the rifle honestly and what's more comfortable to you.
Yup those are the ones, I agree I guess it is dependent on how you hold the rifle while firing, I do prefer a longer hold and using the grip more as a hand stop than anything else. I will have to check out those BCM ones hope they carry a FDE model!
My only pistol was a 1955 S&W Model 36 handmedown from my grandfather. It's in perfect condition, and it just stays under my bed.
I just got my concealed carry license and was eyeing concealed carry. I happened to win a S&W M&P .45 a couple weeks ago as a door prize at a sportsmens event.
I haven't shot it yet, but had initially thought about getting a 9mm. Thoughts on the .45? I've shot an.45 kimber ultra carry and thought it was fine but noticeably more kick than other 9mms.
A Shield (if I recall, that's what it was) in a .45 ACP is a handful.
Pretty much any pistol that small with any significant caliber is going to have more recoil. Less weight to soak up the recoil in the long run. But all in all, a 9mm in a pocket type like the Shield is about perfect IMO.
Supposed to get the rest of my parts to finish my 6.8 AR build today and tomorrow. The only thing I don't have is the mag. Any recommendations as to a decent mag for the 6.8?

Or wherever you can find the PRI cheaper. You've got a good nose for it.
