Excluding your gut reworking, is this off season seemingly taking longer than usual?
I mean with all the coaching changes, seems like we should have had more going on but it just seems like f.o.r.e.v.e.r.

That's precisely the problem. I don't turn on Fox News for a breakdown of the football game. And it's worse than just political, it's in your face liberalism that is uncalled for IMO.

I have been digging on the AD stuff this afternoon trying to talk to as many people as I can. Nothing earth shattering new, but I'm continuing to hear Bubba Cunningham's name alot tonight.

I think what is going to be interesting is how does the committee/chancellor handle the interview process. Are they going to talk to 3-4 as we have thought or will that number be less than that.

Would a guy like Cunningham want to go through the entire interview process? Can't imagine he wants to go after it and not get it. It wouldn't help himself at all at UNC. So do they handle the process differently like not having the full committee interview him. Would he want a job offer first?

As we noted in the war room, this thing still is twisting and changing, but after hearing Cunningham's name yesterday, we have heard it even more today.

What's the next turn of events? We will see.

Actually it is longer than what the norm has been the last several years at least. Spring camp isn't starting until later this year.

I agree, he's not getting the job. It'll be Fulmer or an outsider. Should have been Blackburn last fall, IMO.

But I will say, I think Cunningham would be a good hire.

I've read that he did a good job guiding UNC through all the NCAA turmoil resulting from academic scandal under the previous AD. AD at Tulsa, and it looks like he may have hired Brady Hoke as HC at Ball State when he was AD there.
