Not in basketball. They work in multiple conferences. They try to work as many nights as they can and not just stick to the two main games in a conference each week. Teddy Valentine works Big 10, SEC and other conferences.

Yep, but sec does get to pick their refs, and they choose poorly. Doesn't excuse an 18 pt half though

Not the resume of a bad coach. Joker is a very good recruiter and coach. He also has lots of experience calling plays which would give you each offensive asst on staff with OC play calling experience except for G working for the OC that doesn't have that experience.

Yes, but the SEC contracts a select few and has a pool of their own. They use the same ones every week. I didn't watch tonight because I was kind of nervous about the game. But I can name a bunch of them that are in the league, and most are a disgrace. I am sick of the poor officiating in both basketball and football in this league. There is too much at stake and too much money involved to be so bad.

You are right. And college refs are bad in all conferences, not just the SEC.

I had no idea he was doing that well. Seriously didn't know he existed before he became the UK head coach.

I would think that having a very successful stint as OC in the SEC would make him a welcome addition, especially considering we have a a first-time OC. UK had some of its best years offensively (outside of the Mummie-Couch era) with Joker as OC.

We could maybe do better than Joker, but we definitely could do a whole lot worse.
