To Protect and to Serve II

I agree, and that cop made a stupid decision. You even admitted yourself that it wasn't the ideal way you would have handled it, but then you turned around and defended your brother/circled the blue fence and said that it was techie ally within the rules of engagement. I make the claim that the rules of engagement suck, but you still stand behind the Blue shield.

That is the disconnect between us civilians/citizens and you cops. You can't even bring yourself to say that anot her cop is flat out wrong when the evidence presented clearly shows it.

Sigh...I never said the cop made a stupid decision, I stated the way I would have preferred to handle it. I also said that everything went down well within the confines of use of force, as well within the guidelines of a felony stop. I've stated that the way he bladed his body away from officers, in the direction of he door is a HUGE red flag, ESPECIALLY on a felony stop. I've attempted to dissect this for you so that you can understand why the officers reacted that way.

See, you want to blame everything on me (cops) for the disconnect between cops and civilians yet, I've explained everything in manner that was (attempting to be) informative and respectful...but all I get back is jest and accusations of a cover up.

You don't want to listen to the truth.

I realize you didn't say that. I clearly understood that. That is why I said that cops protect other cops. You couldn't have been more clear and more stereotypical in your response.

I also said that everything went down well within the confines of use of force, as well within the guidelines of a felony stop.
And again, there is no confusion or misunderstanding as to what you are saying here, also. That is why I made the comment before that if this arrest falls within the guidelines of a legal stop, then this is pathetic. I also stated clearly after you mentioned that felony stops are handled differently that there is a presumption of innocent until proven guilty in the court of law, but on the streets with these cops, a civilian is automatically assumed to be a felon. Again, no confusion or misunderstanding here.

And again, my response to that is that the officer obviously saw that both of the man's hands were empty, that is why he felt comfortable approaching him to make that Terry Tate tackle. Again, I clearly understood that.

See, you want to blame everything on me (cops) for the disconnect between cops and civilians yet, I've explained everything in manner that was (attempting to be) informative and respectful...but all I get back is jest and accusations of a cover up.

I never accused the cops in this case of a cover up. Show me where I said that? I think it is pretty clear from both the video and from your comments that most law enforcement officers saw nothing wrong with this. So no, I never once even signaled to you that this was a cover. This is something that you all seem to open embrace.

The officer who charged came from the far right of the camera (left side of the subject), he wasn't the one who was giving him verbal commands, he was the officer more likely to have been watching hand movements, whether he was blading his body in a certain position away from officers (which he did), and likely saw that movement which caused him to react.

I don't know that to be the case but, that's what I see.
You know, I just went back and watched this video again. Your account of the events isn't even accurate. That driver stood there like a statue with both hands in the air. It wasn't until the cop that charged him from the right of the cop car got into view of the dashcam that we see him "blade" as you call towards the car. Meaning, this dumbazz cop was already in full stride running towards the guy BEFORE that guy went from being a statue to what appears to be someone falling back expecting to be engaged by the dumbazz from the right and the cops on the left.

Go back and look at that video. He didn't "blade" until the dumbazz was already in full stride coming at him. That guy was a statue before then with no evidence or signaling that he was an armed threat.

Orlando caught the guy that killed an officer. He yelled "They beat me up" as they took him in. Lucky he is still alive

This isn't fallout 4. You don't have a backpack that can fit a sword, pool cue, submachine gun, mini nuke, .308 gun, 10mm gun, .45 gun, etc. with a pause button to find the weapon you want, mid confrontation.

This. As opposed to knowingly confronting a riot with many people you can prepare for.

The gall of the Texas sheriff to complain about MORE civil asset forfeiture. See, this just shows that law enforcement just sees regular civilians as sheep they are entitled to fleece over the most trivial of transgressions. No reasonable person would even suggest wanting to take someone's property over selling some reefer or coke.

Just looking at this Trump rally in Florida. If there are any issues that Trump and I disagree on, it will be Iran & China and his hard on for law enforcement. Stop and frisk is unconstitutional. Arming the even more police and giving them even more aide is borderline crazy.
