He was. I feel like he'll keep turning our receivers into blockers instead of pass catchers though. He was one of Urban's original guys.

In other Bears news, they hired Brandon Staley as OLB coach. He received a job at UT for basically getting Cordarrelle to sign with us a few years back. Happy for him

There is no way he is coming here, he played for Clemson and is a true CO-OC. He calls all their passing plays. He is really good at his job though. He has coached Sammy Watkins, DeAndre Hopkins, Martavis Bryant, Artavis Scott and Mike Williams in his time as WR coach. He also has made a walk on like Renfrow a star.

Time to sit back and see whether Butch gets another dinosaur or some vanilla guy that half of volnation will have to google to see who he is... Maybe he will surprise us and I hope he does, but I'll believe it when I see it. If Butch is a WR guy, bring in Welker (I know crazy) and help him along the first year. The guy has been there and done that at the highest level- just needs some polishing from a coaching standpoint
