Should the judges lose their battle, the travel ban will go back into effect.

When that happens, as we got a small sampling that weekend, Arab/Muslim allies will turn on us. Iraq will threaten relations with us, and may even align with Russia and/or Iran. As a result, we will get less cooperation with these nations' intelligence services, something that currently helps prevent terror attacks both abroad and domestically.

Further, the Muslim population here will (and probably already a given) react more harshly than it has already. We do a relatively good job of assimilating our Muslim immigrants, unlike Europe. Trump's model, however, will radicalize our domestic population more than what would occur under normal circumstances.

Not to mention just the simple fact of it serving as a great propaganda tool for Islamic radicals.

Other than all of this, it will keep us safe.

What cooperation do we receive from these Muslim countries and what great intel will they stop supplying us with? That Muhammad Abdul Khalid may be up to no good? No ****. Big f'n deal.

I wish we could go back to a more moderate country--not so far left or right.

If Trump acted sane and didn't freak out a good portion of the country and world with his diarrhea mouth and cabinet then his policies are definitely better than Paul Ryan and Mike Pence.. Unfortunately, he is not becoming presidential anytime soon.

Edit: and yes, that list is alarming no matter which side you are on.

You clearly have no comprehension of how counterterrorism works, which, yes, includes cooperation with Arab/Muslim allies.

You also clearly have no idea how propaganda can be used to radicalize those who wouldn't be radicalized otherwise.

I've not even spoken about refugees. As I told you before (which you didn't listen, as I told you you would not listen), this is not about refugees for me. While I feel for them, I place my nation's security above them. No, we should not be pouring in refugees like Europe. But we were never doing that to begin with. You fell for Donny's bait.

But this went beyond refugees and was completely unnecessary.

You should just have the integrity to be intellectually honest with us and admit that you wish Muslims were banned from the country. I'd actually have some respect for you.

It's pretty clear that's all you care about. Rational approaches to combating Islamic radicalism certainly aren't on your mind.

If I get unhappy with a President, I wait until they are leaving office, and vote again. I may voice my displeasure, but I don't lose any sleep over them. I don't obsess with them. I have been glad to see the last 3 go home.

Not more than four hours or so ago, you're over in another thread, preaching. You're rightfully condemning a poster for wrongly accusing another poster of having Klan meetings in his church. You then rightfully congratulate said accuser for apologizing for his actions, a display of manhood of which you can apparently recognize but not act upon yourself.

You then meander your little self over to another thread, where you then persist in accusing other posters of supporting Islamic terrorism (which is essentially the same charge you just condemned in another thread - that of supporting terrorism), a despicable claim, for which you get called out on and rightfully so. You make no attempt at an apology and, in fact, just dig deeper.

You're incorrigible and your behavior reprehensible, no matter how "light-hearted" you come across to your allies on here.
