Biggest mistake was announcing the retirement of Hart so long in advance creating a ridiculously long lame duck session.

It's been a clusterf--k. The chancellor and the president (yes, both?) decided to effectively sack the AD and announce it even as the chancellor was leaving too. And then we hear that the chancellor we don't have needs to vet and approve the new AD--but of course hiring a new chancellor takes months. The blame for this fiasco falls on the university president--make no mistake. He has completely botched the whole process. And the board deserves condemnation too. And of course meantime the old football coach, who's been doing nothing for years, decides to start lobbying for the position--a complication we don't need. And also meanwhile, Holly Warlick is destroying our once vaunted women's basketball program. She should have never been hired--not qualified; then should have been sacked two/three years ago, or last year--or how about RIGHT NOW. And yet she won't be and will probably be back next year to drive the program a little deeper in the mud because of our screwed up AD situation.

I don't follow basketball much, but I really like the new guy on the SEC Network Pat Bradley. His Boston accent is annoying, but he's a great personality and doesn't say nonsense, inane filler crap like so many talking heads on ESPN.

Seems to me he is pretty accurate.

Except the part about Holly. She is who Coach Summit named as her successor. So all that never should have been hired is not very accurate. I think it is time for Holly to go. I think that she has demonstrated that she is not the best person for this job. I agree that it likely will not happen soon.
