Considering what everyone thought was suppose to happen, I'd say it is will be hard to call it a failure. You've said yourself they have way overachieved this year already. Anything added to that would be bonus, not failure IMO.

You think the Sailors on those ships have little space. You ought to see where they put the Marines on those ships. I've been in brigs where I had more personal space.

^^^^ummm, yeah, what I meant to say was that I have heard rumor that there is more personal space in a brig....not that I've been in one. Just so we're straight. Because i...uhh...haven't...been in a brig...ummm...before.

Whew! Talked my way out of that one.

They don't call them coffin racks for nothing. I hated how little storage I had when I was on a carrier, but not gonna lie, I kind of miss sleeping in my rack. About halfway through any deployment that mattress would be perfectly formed and broken in.

I will continue to ridicule sailors and Marines but y'all have my respect. Never doubt it.

I appreciated the fact that he stepped up this year and took a leadership role, but I think I agree with you. We've got some talent that can step into his role. Just need a couple of big guys (that hopefully can develop quick) and we should have a good team next year. Probably not barn burners, but decently good. I'm personally thinking 2019 will be when it comes together solidly, although I would love to be wrong and next year be the year.

The BasketVols have already over achieved. I think they at least make the NIT. The NCAA would be fantastic but any extra practices would be incredible.

They should make the NIT this year. Agree. Right now extra practices are a premium for this team.

I know you were.

I was a Gunny for several years before getting promoted again. They're suppose to be bitter. I can't remember why, just seems like I remember someone telling us to be. I was good at bitter though. I do remember that.

If you hang out in the RF enough, you'll see that us military guys (old and young) give each other a hard time all the time. To the casual onlooker, it may seem odd, but to the trained eye, you can see the respect that is being shown in the disrespect. :salute:

I never understood the whole this is my rifle. this is my gun thing.

It's the whole "this is for shoot'n, this is for fun" part. I did a lot of shoot'n with both of them. :yes:

Well, you see, we refer to our weapons by their nomenclature. For instance, the main personal weapon system of the US military is called....ooooh, wait, you were being.... um, right.

I'm just going to go back to the commmand tent and finish up that, uh, training schedule.

He needs to be a Titan. He's from that area and the Titans need a guy like him on that D. I am a Vol and Titans fan and I need him to be on that team. Do you hear that, Robinson? :)

Doubt he will. I think Robinson may trade back since he also has the 18th pick. He's on record wanting a second round choice, so he can probably pick that up plus additional picks by moving back. There are a lot of top D-backs and WR's to choose from in this draft.
