You are less than 100 posts away from 1.0 per day. If you were really serious about it, you could do that in little to no time. I'm beginning to have serious doubts about your allegiance to VN.
jus sayin
My plan is to post here that I think we should try to fill up our class by September and then cut as many loose as possible in January to "upgrade." I figure that debate with Bruin will be good for a few hundred posts![]()
I am just joshin' with you, Bruin. That practice is not my favorite, either, though, I feel it is, unfortunately, necessary, to some degree.
Wow Cat! Wouldn't have figured you for one to be able to pull that line out. I'm impressed. Even for being a musician.....that's long before your time.
You a Simon and Garfunkel fan?
Edit: After thinking about it, I realized that should just be Simon.....no Garfunkel when He did that song.
Good win last night over Ole Miss... makes it even harder to understand how we blew it in Starkville... that was awful.
I know there's talk that Jones is going to be more selective early with the 2018 class but I just don't see it happening. And it's because I don't think he does it for the reasons fans think.
I think we fill up early because Jones likes the perception of having a highly rated recruiting class. Imagine our class looked like Florida's class heading into January. No way we close as strong as they do. We don't have the recruiting territory they do. Jones is scared of being perceived as dead in the water on the trail. Can't say I blame him.
If highly rated guys don't jump on board early, go ahead and prepare yourself for a lot of early takes to keep the class in the top 10.

Where have you gone, Joe Dimaggio? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
I gave him a like for the reference, too. Mostly because I know that, like me (I'm 40...and it has just dawned on me that in the 6 months that I've been 40, I've not said" I'm a man, I'm 40"), he's not old enough to have been a fan when they were current.
And, by the way, he and Garfunkle did perform it together at the Concert in Central Park. One of my favorite songs from that concert.
