TrumPutinGate

I tried.

Speaking of Twitter, no one really answered my question about Anonymous

Anonymous is a hacktivist group. They think of themselves as the Robin Hood of the internet. They can sometimes be political and sometimes. Not they've shut down ISIS sites and they have attacked the Scientologists, the Westboro Baptist Church and they have also done dumb stuff like hack the Play Station network and leak 100 million Sony accounts. They can be good or bad depend on what side you are on.

But who sets its agenda? The twitter account above was going hard after Trump this morning.

That's the thing. It all depends on the actions of an individual or group. One day they were attacking the Clintons for being corrupt now it's Trump. Like I said they are the Robin Hood of the internet. Those they see as unjust they will attack. Oh and the Also like Chaos. That's why their symbol is Guy Fawkes.

I do. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

One of them was seized in the middle of a meeting!

Simplest explanation is that due to the leaks to the media here Putin found out we're onto what they've been doing.

That's why Britsh Intelligence issued a D-Notice and put their guy in a safe house somewhere.

Serious question:

Let's pretend that in the admittedly highly unlikely event the Kremlin was to ever pull off placing an operative into the position of the American presidency, how would he or she govern any differently than what Donald Trump has thus far?

Again, serious question.

American intelligence sources are claiming they did indeed have HUMINT from inside Russian security services regarding the election interference, according to the New York Times.

All rolled up in less than a week after Trump-Bannon-Flynn took the White House.

Hell of a coincidence. That or Putin just wants us to think that.

He wouldn't be talking about some of the military spending that Trump has discussed.

Possibly.

But if the Kremlin was smart, and it is, it would have said operative behave in ways that would make said operative look like an American patriot. Military spending and military championing would fit such a pattern, but it would be revealing what such a president would want to spend money on and what military programs he may want to cut. For example, it would do no good for America in a major war should such a candidate push defense spending above 600 billion but desire to scrap specialized weapons programs like the F-35 program.

It would be a very fine line between decisions appearing helpful and decisions actually disastrous, because the Kremlin would possibly seek to keep that operative in as long as possible and to create as much long-term ill as possible. For instance, such a president would probably not come out and initially try to stock a race war, although the Kremlin would profit tremendously. The Kremlin would know, however, that that approach would probably be overplaying its hand.

He talking about building new ships and stuff.

An interesting twist to your exercise is what would the Kremlin want the U.S. president to say about China?

Regarding China, I think the Kremlin would want an American president to behave exactly as he has behaved towards China.

Only 20-30 million Russians inhabit Siberia and the Russian Far East, while over 100-200 million Chinese sit directly across the border in Manchuria. China is hungry for resources.

I think the Kremlin would welcome increased US-China tensions, as such would free the Kremlin up to maneuver in Europe, while the rest of the world was preoccupied with what's going on in East Asia.

What possible problem would Americans have with the FSB?

According to Agent Trump, apparently that each and every individual American isn't also having them over for dinner as they're shoving it up our rears.

It will be interesting to hear what the justification for this is.

Well, I can already tell you what the justification is for it. I started this thread about it.

But, yes, you're correct that the narrative from the White House that passes as justification for it will be interesting, although I think they'll largely try to ignore it as long as the press isn't too persistent.

I asked about the business deal and whether or not anyone had ever heard of a near 20% purchase with no board representation, so I'll expect about the same response for this: but has anyone ever heard of a White House shutting off the recorders for a phone call with the Kremlin?

There's no recording of Trump's talk with Putin—because Trump's team turned off the recorder

I mean, it's like he isn't even trying to hide it.

My fear now is that I've been naive. I've just been assuming that it would catch up with him and that we'd act accordingly by taking down the traitor, and it possibly will, but Hillary avoided her due comeuppance for years. This is on an entirely different level though, and it should worry every single American to the very last.

Holy **** some people got fired? Who, where, by who and why should I give a ****?

You taking posting lessons from Carlos now?

While you're in here, would you be so kind as to comment on the 19% Rosneft purchase and the Trump-Putin phone call?

We really want to know, because you're an expert, and we value expertise.

More unconfirmed allegations.

Don't care because not every phone call is recorded, its practice that if the other head of state requests the call not be recorded it's not. Or at least it's not publicly stated that it was recorded. So another screech event with only half the story is what I think.

"Screeeeeeeecccccchhhhhh!!!!!"

Whoever made that VolNation's latest deflection calling-card ought to be hanged.

Furthermore, non-screeching guy, these aren't allegations.

They're simply facts that sound very, how should we say, interesting, given a president that sounds like he's been turned at every public speaking event about Russia.

But not allegations.
