I still don't unferstand why ot is our responsibility to take in Syrian refugees when Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E. have collectively taken in zero.

It's the motto printed on the Statue of Liberty that certain people these days are crying about. Some on the left think we are to open our borders to all that need to be here.

Why do so many people want to go there then? I don't get the allure of Dubai at all.

It's more of a European thing (they are closer).

Lots of impressive buildings, bright lights, luxury shopping, basically a literal oasis in the desert. Never been but I guess I can see the appeal of it.

It's not, but somehow our educational system has endoctrinated generations of liberal dimwits. Common sense no longer exists in this country.

Case in point..... one of my sister's dumbass neighbors was feeding skunks along with her cats. Neighbor after neighbor asked her to stop..... she said they won't do anything to you if you don't bother them..... neighbors called the health department and etc. to no avail..... now the neighborhood has a skunk problem. They've gotten under numerous homes and nested. Peeing and crapping and spraying.....

She's the type that believes in the liberal agenda.....

Yes. His back and forth exchange with Kristen Welker was bizarre. According to Spicer, the media is to blame now when Trump uses words he shouldn't in his own tweets.

Of course the media is to blame; that's Trump's go to. Amazingly enough, it seems to work with the radical right. He can say something and then turn right around and claim he didn't say it. Some people are already acting like this is normal and acceptable behavior.

Gaslighting at its finest.

Speaking of the media, Fox News, at the insistence of the Canadian Prime Minister, has had to retract their fake news tweets regarding the nationality of the killer. They had earlier admitted to the false report but evidently still left the original reports in circulation. That's standard Fox. Provide fake news, give it time to circulate, and then send out a small retraction at two in the morning.

That's standard "anybody with an agenda" reporting.

The Time reporter who tweeted out at the inauguration that MLK's bust had been removed from its regular place did the same thing. It isn't unique to the left or the right.

Kind of like the way the Obama Administration did with the Benghazi video?

I disagree. First generation assimilation is not an important component of immigration. Immigrants just need to learn the laws of their new country and abide by them. After that, whatever they choose to make of their new life is up to them. The United States has never been a melting pot. Immigrants change countries more than countries change immigrants. That's true everywhere and it's not exclusive to Muslims. There was mass immigration in the late 70's from Cuba into south Florida... For the most part, the first generation of those Cuban immigrants did not assimilate. They simply made Miami the new Havana. You do eventually see assimilation by the 3rd generation but most of them still abide by the customs of their parents/grandparents. It would be the same thing with Muslims. Assimilation does eventually happen but not in the first wave.

Yeah right..... why don't you and your family migrate to the Middle East and see how that works out for ya......

It's part of the globalist agenda of forced multiculturalism, deterioration of morals and perpetual Muslim-Christian warring..

What if I believe neither of them matter? It's simple math. More people on the planet means less of them matter. Look at pennies, in the 1800's when there wasn't as much money, pennies mattered a lot. Now, people don't think twice about losing one.

Kind of like the more kids you have, the less each one matters?
