I'm attempting to save everyone from hearing my opinion. It wouldn't go over well with a lot of people on here. I understand that, but if they insist upon continuing to bring politics into the RF, they will get it. Most of you who know me on here understand that I don't have a great filter when it comes to speaking my mind.

I'd prefer not be forced into a vacation from here, but I will accept it none the less if necessary. :hi:

That still doesn't make you the mom. :p

Kentucky has 19 3 stars and 4 4 stars. We have 23 3 stars and 4 4 stars. Fortunately the difference is we have studs Trey Smith and Ty Chandler.

1 five star doesn't jump you 13 spots.
Their 3 stars are scored lower but I'm guessing you already know this.

It's all good. I'll leave my post as my last word, even though differing opinions have never bothered me, unlike many here.

Just like I said. Without Trey Smith and Ty Chandler we are below South Carolina and Florida which is right near Kentucky according to 247 class calculator.

Glad we have those two beasts.

At the risk of sounding too much like a drama queen, this class is no 2008 35th ranked flop as some suggest but it really is pretty middling overall compared to our rivals.

The Good:
OL - Trey Smith is a huge pickup. Nothing to complain about here. No obvious strike outs either.
LB - Pretty solid, especially if Gray ends up a S/OLB hybrid. Ignont and Reid look like good pick ups and the staff has seen enough in Page to recruit him hard for a few years now.

The OK:
DL - What we lack in quality, we'll make up for in quantity. Obviously, there'll be a whole lot more to like if we can add Ray and Conliffe.
TE - Bumpus seems pretty good and Brown seems ok. I think the staff would've preferred McKitty over Brown though.
RB - Chandler is awesome. I think Jordan is better than his ranking and the staff really seems to like Coleman. Obviously, they would've preferred Akers or Etienne to go with Chandler but oh well.
DB - The staff seems pretty satisfied with what they have at corner and Labruzza, Bailey, and Shamburger look like the kind of guys Va Tech has had tremendous success developing and putting in the league for several years now. Still, the lack of a Gibbs, Stephens, or Jamyest here separates us from our rivals somewhat.

The meh:
QB & WR - underwhelming no matter how you slice it. Johnson and Higgens flipping really hurt us here.

Okay, I agree.
Without our higher ranked players, our class would be ranked lower.
I'm sure we're not alone in that, seems like that would apply to every team :)
