You are correct. I believe Butch knows who will not make it in and will not let them sign.

Iran not agreeing with what the America does? Gasp! We should really have their acceptance in every decision. Just like Butch should consult with McElwain and Saban on every matter pertaining to UT football.

I'd say this is a conversation best for another forum. People coming in here to read about football or recruiting may not want to see this. It could also get reall ugly real fast in here too.

Lol if we miss on Murphy and Ray, this class is absolutely disappointing... no ifs ands or buts about it. Frankly it's delusional to think otherwise if you ask me.

You don't win in the SEC with multiple classes with 20+ 3 stars like this year. Thats how you end up like Kentucky and will never be in the hunt to win championships like we should be.

I'm attempting to save everyone from hearing my opinion. It wouldn't go over well with a lot of people on here. I understand that, but if they insist upon continuing to bring politics into the RF, they will get it. Most of you who know me on here understand that I don't have a great filter when it comes to speaking my mind.

I'd prefer not be forced into a vacation from here, but I will accept it none the less if necessary. :hi:

So you aren't gonna name the players who aren't SEC caliber? And where is Kentucky's class ranked?

With Butch being at mid-major schools and the anomaly of the 2014 class, I think they are figuring out what works best for recruiting at UT and what's best in the SEC.

If the changes to the staff lead to better recruiters on staff, then we'll probably see UT going after more guys going into signing day 2018.

That is of course unless they get 10-12 in state guys locked down.

If that happens, half the board will be po'd because we haven't got anyone committed and we're two months into the process. Waaaay behind in recruiting--no one wants to come to UT. I can hear them now :mf_surrender::mf_surrender:

Kentucky has 19 3 stars and 4 4 stars. We have 23 3 stars and 4 4 stars. Fortunately the difference is we have studs Trey Smith and Ty Chandler.
