Immigration Ban

I agree we need to scrutinize who's trying to get in the US, but this seems excessive. There's going to be a lot of collateral damage.

I see a couple of refugees who landed last night in Laguardia are suing. Seems logical to sue a country that you want to protect you.

Just set up a "sponsor a refugee" program, and let these liberals bring them into their homes and take care of them.

I doubt there will be any takers, but at least the option is there.

The first thing they do once they get here is sue? They might be more American that we thought.

Become a worthless *****, don't help out your own country, come to America, be worthless and then sue. 'Merica!

I really do think that the silent majority is totally ok with this.

But in time, as individual stories emerge, I don't know.

Omg Trumps muslim ban doesn't include countries who the US have been allies with for decades? IT must be a conspiracy!!!!!!

Yeah, our allies. The guy who does nothing but throw our allies under the bus at practically every stop while leveling praise for our enemies is concerned about maintaining great relations with our allies.

If so, I think that's why. They may be envisioning this order as stopping Syrian refugees, and don't realize at the same time how many people here in the US with families and jobs it's also affecting. The lack of communication from the Trump administration seems to be causing it's own amount of havoc with airports and European officials.

I'm not against scaling back or increasing the vetting for refugees. Letting loads of people into the country from an area where a lot of people hate this country is tough to navigate, but this order is too much I think.

Radical Islamic attacks both here and abroad are going to increase significantly under Trump.

You can't unravel our intelligence-sharing capabilities with allies, then pursue anti-Islamic policy (or at least what can be perceived as such by some), and just expect to walk away without a scratch from this cold reality.

To their credit, when Americans voted in the 2016 election, they mandated a politics more attuned to reality. And my god are they going to get a good heaping dose of it soon.

Um, no, on the tax return thing. In fact, your tax return thing just makes no sense at all - but, that's entirely expected considering the source.

And, hey, could you stop talking about everybody's butt all the time? And the "sweet and salty" thing is just freaking creepy dude.

Ah...youth. Many just haven't the capacity to know when the joke's old.

The first two refugees kept out of America by President Trump's order are Iraqis who helped US troops survive during the war. These men risked their lives for years to keep our troops safe. One was with the 101st Airborne. This is no way to treat our allies. --- Rep. Jim Cooper

The hijackers in the September 11 attacks were 19 men affiliated with al-Qaeda. 15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia, and the others were from the United Arab Emirates (2), Egypt and Lebanon. Are any on the ban list? curious?

Why not Egypt? Mohammed Atta was from Cairo..

Egypt is a secular country that actually cracks down on terrorists when Obama isn't propping them up.
