Glad everybody saved me the effort of saying that scout is an idiot who isn't at the senior bowl but must have just looked at a picture of Barnett.

That's exactly what he did. Barnett physically looks like a power-only guy but that's not his game at all.

Harrogate TN. Just through the tunnel from M'boro.

Wow! I lived in Harrogate until 1990 when we moved to Ohio. I drove through there on the way to Piegon Forge last spring. Other than LMU being bigger, and the tunnel from Middlesboro it was just as I remembered.

As fun as this would be, I want McElwain at Florida. Couldn't recruit his dog to eat prime rib

The last thing I want is a coaching upgrade there.

True dat but if they happen to get into some difficulty with the AA, what top coach would want to step into that situation?

Good grief guys. If Conliffe wants in, he is in. Any other idea is pure madness.

Not according to Hubbs this morning. He said that the staff pushed for a commitment early in the week. He said that UT is tight with numbers now and may not have room.

Give Brady Hoke his due for Michigan football's huge NFL draft class

MOBILE, Ala. - With seven players at this week’s Senior Bowl and three other top prospects sitting out or ineligible for the game for a variety of reasons, Michigan could have the biggest draft class of any school in the country this year.

And while Jim Harbaugh has rightfully received plenty of credit for Michigan’s revival, linebacker Ben Gedeon said don’t overlook the job former Wolverines coach Brady Hoke did stocking the roster with talent.

“He recruited pretty much all of us,” Gedeon said this week at the Senior Bowl. “He deserves a ton of credit. We have so much respect for him as a coach and as a man, and that’s why we came to the University of Michigan.”

Funny a back before Christmas suggested we shouldn't make changes to the staff until after NSD and so many here jumped my case saying that was dirty and dishonest.

Now strip is apparently doing just that and not one poster is talking about how dishonest that is to a recruit like Ray that has such a great relationship with him.

Why. The recruits already know strip is gone, they're not idiots.. Unless we have been lying to them the whole time.

Difference here is that Strip will still be on staff.

They don't know. I saw a quote from butler last week saying how much he was looking forward to strip being his position coach.

You don't rock the boat close to signing day. Especially if Strip is staying on staff.

Oh I agree but it's dirty. Having a noncoaching job isn't nearly the same as being a kids Position coach. I am all for doing this but let's not act like it isn't dirty.

They don't know. Neither do we really. Hoke could be coming or he could get offered a better position with another team tomorrow. If it was a sure thing a month ago I think they might have went ahead and made the move. I'm not 100% sold that a change is happening but if it does it will be a couple weeks (maybe longer) after signing day.
